@hypergymbot002 Thats Alicia Sacramone (I believe). She only does 3 events, vault, floor, and beam. Even if you dont perform an event, you still have to go up their and scratch.

I love Shawn! She amazingly powerful strong beautiful and just perfect! She makes me want to be in gymnastics! My parents cant afford it so i try to teach myself! Shawn just wants to make you be in gymnastics! Shes trying to say, Dont stop doing what you want to do! Dream your dreams anythings possible! It's great to see her so happy... usually gymnasts competing in event like these always seem so stressed, I love it when they seem to be really enjoying what they do and just beaming. Shawn deserves to be happy, that was an absolutely amazing performance. :)

I don't know. I really don't like her dance and artistry. It is nothing compared to Nastia's. I mean Johnson is really a fantastic tumbler but I just miss the beautiful dance aspect. I also don't like her music it's so jerky with the changes and it just sounds weird/ her dance does not go with the music.

@brdbarreira Did yo u get a chance to see her at the Cover Girl classic yet? It was incredibly exciting seeing her competing again. The skills were still there.... just needs the numbers in the gym. It would be great to see her, Chellsie, and Alicia back with new comer Jordyn Weiber. I think USA could win in London. But, they're going to have some tough competition from Aliya Mustafina and the Russians...so exciting.

I hate how people make it seem like everyone has to choose between Shawn or Nastia or other gymnasts. I love Shawn, I love Nastia, I love Chellsie, I love Alicia, I love Aliya, I love Yang Yilin, I love He Kexin, and so many others. (These were just from 2008 Beijing.) I just love each gymnast on different event(s). Being at this level of gymnastics is just an amazing feat in itself.

@maddimayhem15 Alicia didn't compete all-around, just beam, floor, and vault. She hadn't competed bars for some years. It's just a formality that if you don't compete an event, you have to 'present', which is scratching.
