  • Maraming salamat po. Napakaganda. Sa panahon ngayon, kundiman ay langit sa pandinig.

  • Thanks for posting your comments. While studying premed at UST, I received about 6 months of classical guitar instructions at the Yamaha School of Music in Cubao back in the 7o)s just enough to be able to read notes. It was mainly a hobby for me.

My guitar is nothing special or expensive although it is handcrafted. It has a spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides.I got it from eBay. I believe it was originally made by a European luthier but resold as Rubin Guitars on Ebay.

  • @guitarreroknight Thanks for your reply. I can see the benefit of having had formal lessons. I am basically self-taught so it's a struggle for me to learn a piece. I've posted a few guitar pieces here although most of my uploads are vocal. You can see that there's still a long way for me to go before I can play like you and my friends Joel Malit, Mar Mendoza and Pasigueno but I'm enjoying the journey. Take care, mate.

  • This is one of my favorite Filipino compositions and I enjoyed very watching and listening to your interpretation of it. If you don't mind, may I ask if you took formal lessons and what guitar are you playing? Thanks and please continue sharing your music. Best regards.

  • Thanks for you kind comment. I hope to post some more as time and practice allows but this may take a while.

  • Bravo Bravissimo!! You are so magnificent, Sir. I truly enjoy listening to your guitar pieces. Please post some more. I would love to see you play Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Lagi Kitang Naaalala, Hatinggabi and Usahay,

  • Bravo Jose Mari! Beautiful performance of a beautiful Filipino love song. Thanks for sharing. Maria Lourdes Alcasid-Escano

  • @mariaae1 Thanks Ate Lou for appreciating! Will try to post some more Filipino music as time (and practice) permits.
