Have you checked out your Walgreens. The Walgreens down the street from my house has a huge rack of NYX stuff. Also the Papaya at my mall has NYX stuff in their store too.

do Ben Nye eyeshadow run expensive?

Single shadows cost $6-$9 each depending where you get it from. They are bigger than MAC shadows and are just as pigmented. Palettes cost between $30-$60 depending on which one you get and where you get it from.
