title very misleading. im not hating but this one is kinda simple. was expecting the crosses or the low ones. i dont what they called. but overall good form.
awefull skipping!!! his technique is horrible!!!! HE IS FLYING!!!! and his jumps are too high!!! You are suppose to jump just enough for the rope to pass and you should NOT FLY!!! and by that i mean dont swing your arms...everything has to be done through the risk and forearm and thats it !!!
I prefer skipping to running. You exercising and you always know where you are and can stop when ever you feel like it. Skipping is the one my friends. Helps get that rhythm going and helps improve your movement in the sport boxing.
Great tip for self defence if you took boxing for that reason, Do push ups but with ur knuckles, on carpet. It will thicken the skin on your knuckles, it lessens the pain of punching when not near gloves while being jumped LOL
Work on your technique. You're probably swinging your arms too much. Focus on rotating your wrists more instead of the entire arm. Look up some more videos and watch how the pros do it.
@jon2995 i kinda doubt you skip for 2 hours a day... i can only imagine the shin splints... half hour sure... even an hour... but no way 2 hours daily... your feet would die... either that or you know something i dont about skipping because i certainly cant skip 2 hours a day. even though id love to be able to...
is it the inner soles, the socks, the trainers, or the surface... because im curious how its even possible...
These people look down on boxing..they think there are just 2 people going in the ring and smacking each other until one goes down..NO..its HARD WORK..I got hurt, I cried, I sweat, I go on painful diets, I work out 7 days a week. 3+ hours a day and on sat & sun I work up to 7 hours..its hard work..I hate it when normal people come on and make stupid comments on boxing..if you don't anything about it..don't write anything..idiots don't have a clue of how hard true boxers work and how they suffer.
Dont pay attention to those stupid comments about boxing. Only a true fighter no matter what form or style will truely know how much conditioning boxing requires. They obviously have never done at least one 3 minute round of boxing now multiple that by 10. The key to boxing is not only endurance but knowing how to throw your punches, breathing etc. I've had friends who ran marathons run out of gas after one round with me
Exactly it's hard running 3 miles 3 times a day 100 sit ups/push ups and multiple other factors. Then while your tired and bleeding your still fighting to win...i don't get some people, think it is all easy.
i know exactly how you feel i have been boxing since i was about six and if these people had any idea how hard the workouts are they would last 1/3 of my workouts and i am 17
Totally agree with you... And it's not just boxing, it's with most sports like that... Like baseball, people make fun of it too, that it's not that hard... Just throw, and hit a ball... But pitchers actually freeze their throwing arm, not to feel the pain from all the throwing. lol. Same with boxing, people don't know the stuff behind the actual sport...
@GAMINGTIPSANDCHEATS Yeah it has its arguments. BOTH are extremely tough and fun as hell tho. Also depends on how hard you go....full body circuits....how many days a week and what style your fighting with
@Elmo1998NZ Considering i don't know anything about you apart from your age, i would have to tell you the key thing that i tried improving on the most and that is endurance and power/strength. I have no idea how much you weight, how tall you are or your overall fitness, so endurance and strength is purely my opinion and what i did to start of with. But you must remember a good boxer is skilled around every single aspect and has all the right skills to become big.
@Elmo1998NZ As for the money wise, every fighter is an individual case. When it comes to money, think of it like this. Popularity = skill = money = popularity. In boxing you have to show who you are, that is how the money side works. If you get people to see how talented you are you get higher up the list which means more pay. The money starts off very small but can get very big. People like Mayweather make over 20million a fight.
i actually dont find your other foot gets a break really, maybe a imaginary one... but i like doing this move alot... change it up abit though.. double foot skipping is for girls...

ive always been told to pull the "resting" foot all the way back up aginst your leg. no rest just work, the harder you train the better you become.

it's just that he is heavy on his feet, no finesse. the lighter and agile the easier and smoother he will jump rope.

Yeah, his arms are making really big circles, pretty poor form...

maybe he has one of those really light cheap jump ropes that are hard to keep your arms from having to throw the rope over you
