this game didnt sell very much and got bad reviews just because of some minor issues like the camera system, well the camera system didnt use the right thumbstick to look around, it was replaced by how the combat system and attacks were. some scrifices made the combat easier. i really enjoyed this game, and i recommend it to rpg fans...i mean u get to play as a god! how better can it get? god of war is different so u cant really compare that

oh yeah... i get it... but that would make me wonder, if the trilogy ends in the ragnarok, how is frigg doing to make swear to all the things to not harm baldur? or... how is baldur going to know he was going to die? or even more important, how is going an arrow of misteloe going to harm baldur with that armor?

You have to play the game to find that out, i already beat it.. it was cool but the way i think this is going is that there will be a Prequal telling how Baldurs life was before he was killed..the trilogy btw ends after ragnarok and ragnarok is where the Gods of the Aesir fight againts the Giants one last time The Aesir know that they will die though :)

Yeah, but they're saying if you play through the game, you wont get any loading screens. Besides, even when you do get them by skipping cutscenes (your karma for skipping cutscenes in a story driven game :-P) they're pretty damn short.

I don't get how this is like Gears of War. The only way the stories are similar is that there is a horde of enemies. It's closer to Mass Effect than anything else.

Yes, I know it was originally for ps1...then gamecube. But they completely started over again each time. Have you seen ps1 footage? The graphics/gameplay are almost unrecognizable. If a movie was started in 1900, then the movie was scrapped, then started again in 1950, scrapped again, then started again in 2005 and finished in 2008, does that mean the movie was in development for 108 years? I don't think so. This game started in 1999 for the ps1, scrapped, completely new game but same idea for gamecube, scrapped, then started new game in 2005 and ended in 2008...the story is probably the only thing that remained the same throughout
