  • U guys need to have some respect! Rossi is a world champ and if he wanted to compete there im sure he would be a beast on the tt

  • Valentino, you' re the best.

  • I've met Rossi...he's alright.

  • Armchair nerds making stupid comments as per usual.

  • you shood cee hm inst (valintino races from largs to gourock for a kebab ) est das guten serh veil

  • id love too see him go round an irish road race circuit. the likes of cookstown or skerries ;D

  • I know a lot about titty xD

  • Why are there no R1s in the tt??? Are they to far down on hp compared to other bikes? I have an 09 r1 and I know its down on power compared to other 1000cc but doesnt feel like it....anyways, whats up with that?

  • @Bartholomeusismyname probably they are lighter or easier to control then the others.... i dont know since I never drove a R1, but in those roads I think even a scooter has enough HP to ride fast, so I guess the R1 should be more then ok xD lolol

  • yea man valentino has the balls for every track he is the man he is the man

  • to slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • lol I thought I was the only to notice the DIVUDIS :D

  • i now a lot from the DIVUDIS :)

  • @mariusfauru

lol well, that's how DVD is pronounced in Italian, D is "di" and V is "vu" so you get "divudi" ;)

  • @mickeypopa lo so ;) i vas only joking ;) tutto aposto ;)

  • dvouds

  • respect for Rossi visiting TT

  • ha paura ,o no ??

  • Rossi reste en gp !!! tu va pleurer en tt c'est eux les champions du monde !!!!!

  • I think Valentino has a lot of respect for all bike racing history and also for the TT, which comes across in his interview He is said to have a picture of Mcguiness in his motorhome even. Whilst short circuit racing differs from road racing it has its own dangers and no one can really serously doubt rossis bravery or skill? He couldnt now becasue of commitments I guess but if he felt the urge to do it later for his own purposes, I think he would do it, regardless ( although unlikely )

  • He´s to bad for this course on the isle of man can only ride the mans who can ride!

  • Is he on a rental???

  • I'm a huge moto gp fan and wsbk fan but the guys that ride the isle have the biggest balls of all! Many men have lost their lives riding here.

  • @STUBBZY113 so true

  • @STUBBZY113 i wont ride the Isle but ill drive it

  • @STUBBZY113 They have modified seats, so that their balls can fit on the motorcycle more comfortably.

  • Par le' vu, wee-wee!!

  • ArregÔ

  • looooooool, yeahhh his balls are only big enough to come and cruise around.....what a bloody diva....

    .

  • @RudeBoots yeah.. well arent u just the smartest person the earth has ever witnessed...

  • I like cheeseburgers and the TT.

  • Rossi is best of the best

  • Asshole

  • This race is not just race.. I think the rider that did this race.. is like the battle against titty

  • John Goodman would say, Rossi You're Out Of Your Element!

  • 'I know a lot about'a tittie'

  • Its hard to watch Rossi on a bike with mirrors and number plate. :)

  • laic a rial italian

  • @carpo94 you are a wanker

  • jees. never knew his balls were that big.

  • I mean I have huge respect for TT riders but to me it's not racing, its who does the fastest lap time and thats probably the main reason why i enjoy the GP more, its closer and more intense but dont get me wrong seeing the TT riders jumping and wheeling over the crest at 130mph is an incredible sight! I'm just proud to say im a biker and not a 4 wheeled wanker!

  • I cant understand why some ppl diss Rossi because he doesnt race in TT? If me or, I bet, any of you were in his shoes im sure you wouldnt either. After all he has accomplished in his career he has nothing to prove to anyone. He doenst need to prove his talent in TT, all you prove there is that u got a death wish, a mistake there means you are dead, and face it everyone makes mistakes sooner or later. I'm sure he doesn't need that :p

  • @resu19 You just described what makes racers like Guy Martin more accomplished riders than say....Rossi. TT racers race for the love which is why they literally put their lives on the line and for a modest wage. GP racers aer like F1 drivers...i.e. spoiled brats who are not as good as they think they are :)

  • @TheARMAProductions I have huge respect for the TT racers and for what the TT stands for. But i'm sorry i can't agree with you when you make crappy comments about GP racers like Valentino Rossi. He as proven everything there was to prove. He is who he is only because of all his results. He has no need to risk his life like that. As i said earlier, in the TT races there are too many variables, not entirely related to your skill, that can make you dead in a second.

  • @TheARMAProductions Even if you love the races and the adrenaline rush, sorry but you got to have very few things attaching you to this life to go flat out in streets like that. As i said sooner or later everyone makes a mistake. If that happens there you are most likely to end up dead or worst in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. So please make a distinction between beeing reasonable and enjoy the sport with some safety conditions and to go all-in with ur life like in a poker game :p

  • @resu19 Oh I quite agree mate lol. You either have to be a bit mad or have no dependents to worry about when riding the TT. It's not something I'd recommend to anyone. But from the spectators perspective it's exciting. I find that I get bored watching circuit racing such as F1, Moto GP etc but I can watch the TT all day long.

  • @TheARMAProductions I agree with you also when you say F1 is boring it's a shame what they are doing to it lately, but you still have some nice open-wheel action in the GP2 races. As for the motorbikes Moto GP still provides some nice action, but the 125cc and 250cc races are still crazy as hell :p you should try to watch them sometimes. Its not as suicidal as a TT race a hill climb race with F3000s but still fun to watch :P

  • @resu19 i watch alot of this for the science of it. a 250 cc bike is no scientific marvel or an accurate display of what we can achieve with a GP machine .. i want to see back end sliding with 250 plus hp at the rear . rc211v ^^ and tt has to many variables that are out of the riders control . they are all ballsy but , rossi is the man . period

  • @mushrume Yes, but that was my point :p

  • @resu19 This is Suicide...and he is not dumb :)

  • @bboykiddinamit1 yes, that was exactly my point :D

  • @resu19 - Two words: Robert Kubica. How many F1 races has he driven this year after his crash in a rally race?

Racing teams at the top level rarely allow their drivers and riders to compete in external events for safety and monetary reasons. Even in training, accidents can happen that threaten championships, vis-a-vis Sebastien Loeb's crash on a mountain bike in 2006, breaking his collarbone with four races left in the season.

  • @zxcv1234vcxz that was my point :P It would be stupid of him to join TT :P He doen't need to risk his life like that to prove anything at all. He's already a legend xD

  • @resu19 Rossi is a mega talented sportsman, also very rich and well sponsered, most of the TT riders work full time as well , take part in the most dangerous motorcycle race on earth.... Then back to work on monday

  • @pomplumber

Yeah. I believe it's mostly because TT, for all his glory in the motorcycle world, is fairly obscure to the "outsiders".

Very small number or people who watch MotoGP have even heard of TT, let alone watched it.

It's known in UK, but UK is just a small island compared to the rest of the world. :)

But everyone knows about MotoGP, probably everyone has watched at least one race on some sports channel, there are MotoGP video games, etc. That's a pretty big public exposure, compared to TT.

  • Comment removed

  • @pomplumber don't get me wrong, I respect rossi because of what he accomplished in MotoGP, and for the person he is. But i'm not in any way diminishing what the guys in TT do. They are (those who survive, i mean xD) as much brave as they are skilled. But Rossi has nothing to do there, it's just a risk that he does not need to take.

  • @TheARMAProductions and who are you to tell anyone that Rossi is a boy? anyone here would be very lucky to accomplish in our lifes half of what he accomplished in his. The reason he got paid, is because the sponsors of the TT wanted to promote the event, and there are not many ways they could do it better then with Rossi, so if you're that big fan of TT you should be greatfull. Unlike most TT racers, Rossi was blessed with the opportunity of racing in the MotoGP, so he can prove himself there

  • @resu19

he doesnt race the TT because he is not allowed by his managers and contract do to the dangers involved, he would race the TT and ive seen interviews where he says he would really like to

  • @italoarubiano Yes, i'm sure his managers dont allow him to, but i dont even know if he would race if they let them. I'm a fan of rossi don't get me wrong, and i'm sure that for a bike racer, it's an honor to participate in such an event, but racing there is just a risk that for him, it would be pretty stupid to take. He has proven everything he had to prove, i'm sure he doesnt need to take that huge risk.

  • He comes across very different away from the GP paddock.

seems like a top bloke here. no front or smug attitude. im sure this interview away from the pressures is more like what his true character is.

    fair play.

  • MotoGp riders think Isle of man is freaking insane!!! lol..

  • I have lots of respect for VR, he has proved himself time and time again, but he is a circuit racer on controlled purpose built tracks, high side at silverstone and the chances are you will get up and walk away. TT is a different story, there is no room for error and it takes pure guts and serious concentration to do what the likes of Mcguinness, Rutter, Dunlop and many others have done over the years. Isle of man TT racing sorts the men out from the boys, simple as that!

  • @awiserbud This is true, but lets face the facts, if they had more talent they would race WSB or moto gp and wouldnt ever be allowed to race the TT ! not dogging on the TT fellas as they are all Heros in my mind, but im sure VR concentration and guts isnt really in question!

  • turn off that crap music!!!

  • monte carlo still races around streets you know,

and lots of famous people race there. not just rossi.

  • Vale has such a lovely personality. Such a great role model.

  • TT = Dick in my country lol

  • TT must NEVER DIE! the track must be there till man no longer exists! a testament and a monument to our love for racing!

  • valentino will beat all these beginners....is the n°2........agostini n°1

  • DIVUDIS!! LMAO!! Rossi is THE BESTTTT hahahahahaha

  • Does anyone know what sunglasses Rossi is wearing?

  • just from the DIVUDIS (dvd) hahahahahahaahah rossi is the best

  • 1:52 "I know a lot about TT but just from the Di Vu Diz....." hahahahahaha.. Italians :D

  • They're my yellow arms waving at the gooseneck access road!!

  • "I know alot about titty"!?!? Lol

  • @godzassassiinz you betcha lol

  • @godzassassiinz JUST FROM THE DVDS LOLOLOLOL it makes me think he rents porn.

  • @godzassassiinz he sure is!

  • @godzassassiinz Apparently Italian accents make for a lot of Freudian slips: 3:01 "battle against the titty" lol

  • rossi has all of his marbles intact, and to race here and win u need to be bonkers as well as skilled....

  • I wonder if I could follow them at that speed....

  • @Jaiv74 I think I could almost ride a push bike around the TT at this speed lulz

  • "the Doctor will see you now..."

  • Valentino Rossi all the way :) :D

  • what a cool fucking guy

  • Schwule Scheisse .........

Wenn der Spagetti nicht die Eier hat um mitzufahren soll er ganz zuhause bleiben !

  • that slow motion that started at 2:16 was fye.came outta nowhere

  • thats presenters a dickhead

  • @thebipolarpolarbear its not only the bike its the rider also

  • The cool thing about track racing is they push their bikes to the limit and you end up seeing some really tough fights where the racers emotions are almost obvious like a boxing match and mistakes are made (watch Stoner vs Rossi video). The TT requires a more technical approach where mistakes are the enemy, and heads up fights are more rare, the course becomes the opponent.

  • i bet u all rossi will win tt after motogp and none of the haters can hate

  • @dojOdRiFTeR Rossi won't race here...

  • the guy from motorcycle news was at the end in the background.

  • " No mistakes, very dangipris, BUT IS FUNNY!!! "

    xD

"New R1 is like my 1st gp bike" Ohhh ))) rossi beter all TV traders )))

  • @CrazyJOG nah its true, he's not the first racer to say that, if you listen to all the old GP racers they will say the new bikes are far superior to what they rode on in say the late 90s for instance, that is technolgoy, what develops on the racetrack, trickles down into the marketplace inevitably.

  • @SlayerofFiction

i cnow it =) but theme in the "isle of man TT" not in R1 2009.

  • Rossi the best ;-) XD

  • divudis XD

  • valentino got small dick

  • @Mumutkotekeling

    You cheked this?!

    LOL

  • Camcoop25 well said

  • Lol it sounds like he's saying titty.

  • pozza muri stu can r chiavca r valentino.....

  • Love the music!! does anyone know who/what it is?

  • id race him haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa burp

i was marshalling at parliment square that day

  • id race him haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa burp

  • I'm sorry but I disagree with those who say that Rossi will never try or win any road race or TT, I agree he won't while he still rides a GP bike, he has too much to lose. But what after Ducati?? I think you'll be eating your words in a few years!

  • @candisuxxgood no, rossi will never race these roads, he realizes the dangers with road racing and like many racers before him, has no intention of putting himself on that level of danger.

  • @SlayerofFiction Really? You speak as if you have personal knowledge of him. Who knows what the future holds for Rossi after he finishes his GP career! Maybe even he doesn't know what he'll do then. You can't say "No he won't road race!!" and be so definite about it because you're not him.

  • @candisuxxgood I know his history and have listened to his words, he like most Track racers well aware of the pentalty of Failure on the TT avoid it like the Plague, its a differnet style of racing, and those which race it usually being racing on streets, and continue their career as such. He is focused on auto racing as well and has nothing to prove ;)

  • Rossi, no guts??? Just a different gig. They respect each other, from the guy who runs 250 flat track to unlimited streamliners at Bonneville. I don't have the guts to do any of that, most of us don't. Gotta respect them all.

  • I think we can all agree that Valentino Rossi is immensely talented. But he will never ever win at the Isle or any real roads racing because he will not take those sorts of risks. He is a GP racer. He wins by being calculating and outsmarting his opponents. In TT, you win by having the biggest pair and pushing yourself closer to the limit than the next guy will. They are two different types of racing and cater to different types of riders. Guess which one is more exciting? ;)

  • @TSR5000

Yes, and it is more exciting to watch a man with a sword taking on a tiger than two men boxing.

  • @TSR5000

Why always the need to compare GP with TT? It's plain stupid to try and compare these hugely different styles. You post seems to infer that GP racers don't need a pair, just to get on a bike and race it requires that you have a pair no matter what style the race is.

And in answer to the final question, both are very exciting and ... surprise surprise .... for different reasons.

  • @TSR5000 sure you're right. Racing in a circuit has nothing to do with TT racing!! Have you ever seen a video footage where different pilots (F1, motorcycle and even rally drivers) were sitting on the passenger's seat of a rally car? For example, the F1 driver was shocked by how the rally car was driven: it's not the speed, it's the huge difference in conditions and driving. To Rossi it's the same: we wouldn't have the courage to face the corners in Man TT like he faces in a race track.

  • @TSR5000

MotoGP of course ... close battles during the whole race! ;)

  • @TSR5000 - agree with nearly everything you are saying apart from you alluding that TT is more exciting than Moto GP, for who? The riders maybe? Moto GP - particularly with riders like Rossi and Simoncelli is immensely exciting in a way that the TT cannot be. The TT has you in awe as to the risks the riders are prepared to take, they are in fact prepared to pay the ultimate sacrifice but Moto GP is much more of a spectacle.

  • @sourcecodeman - The TT is far more exciting that the rules laden GP can ever be again. I love GP and living in Austin we'll have it here soon. TT is THE place to race.

  • @TSR5000 yea i would have to agree with u AND TT is crazy where the real men race ...

  • @TSR5000 to say motogp doesnt take balls is stupid. going 180 and high siding is not that safe even on a track

  • @riyusVids69 Yeah. going 180 into a stone wall isn't as well. Come on man you know what he was trying to say.

  • @riyusVids69 I can't see where TSR5000 said the GP series doesn't take balls mate? He was just explaining the diffrences in the GP series and the TT and implied the TT was more exciting (I don't think there's any doubting that). As for this video, no offence to Rossia fans but I think it was a little patheric to pay Rossi god knows ho much money just to stroll around the TT as if it were a Sunday afternoon lol. The money should of been pooled into the TT prize

  • @riyusVids69 Any form of motorcycle racing requries a degree of courage. I've raced club level and have had my share of big crashes and trips to the hospital but am still in pretty good health. If I was racing the TT those same crashes could have very well killed me. A statistic for you: the average gp racer crashes 6 times in a season (including practice, etc..) but MotoGP has only seen one fatality in the last decade. The TT averages 2.3 fatalities per year. Which takes more balls?

  • @TSR5000 I think he's got the very high potetial to be champion here also.

  • @TSR5000 gues who the smart one is!! ;)

  • @TSR5000 Excellent assessment. Very well put and I can see this is in no way putting down Rossi. I rode for years and was nervous approaching 100 MPH on the open road. Could never imagine doing what these great riders do, on any race course anywhere. They all have balls of steel.

  • @TSR5000 how do you know he would never win? he probably woulnd't make it on the first attempt since he doesn't know the track like other riders do...but who knows? perhaps for a talent like him the limit of the others is not his limit..i know that GP racing and the TT are a lot different, but a professional rider should be able not to think "here i might fall and crash into a house". i belive he could do that

  • valentino rossi..where champion happens..

  • look at 3:05, isn´t that MCN guy Adam Child at the back?

  • @maxmax155 i think you win a cookie for observancy :D sure looks like him

  • Theres no doubt valentino is a legend but TT road riders ,racers, are a different breed of rider completley

  • @luvatug Yep.

  • maccheroni english

  • The guv'nor of the TT is up in heaven, towering over all...one Joey Dunlop.

TT wins world record holder (26)

Formula 1 world champion 5 times in succession and many other wins and accolades. Road racing King of the World. RIP Joey...

  • @nordhorny rip Steven 'Hizzy' Hislop as well

  • @jreddihough My point was about acknowledging the master - Joey Dunlop.

  • @nordhorny im not trying to make a 'point'. can't someone say something without it turning into a pointless debate. i was simply acknowledging a fallen rider who died prematurely. He might not have been the master but he didn't exactly suck with 11 TT wins.

  • @jreddihough I did not say you were making a point and there was no debate, pointless or otherwise...

  • Nobody can argue against the fact motogp takes a lot more technical ability. The TT riders are soooo incredibly brave, can't believe they race in the wet..because of the danger they can't be riding on the absolute limit while in motogp they are as you see so many crashes even from the best riders in the world!

  • I'm a diehard Honda man, wouldn't consider riding anything else, not that other bikes aren't just as good or even better in some areas, but Rossi is the baddest man on 2wheels in the world. Lorenzo is on fire now, but so was Stoner two years ago, and he hasn't won a race this year, but he's coming to Honda now so I guess I have to start liking him.

  • You gotta know that course like the back of your hand if plan on winning and/or not dying.

  • @peaceandmetal88 not dying comes first haha, then winning. definitely takes forever to learn im sure

  • Got it right, can't make mistakes.

  • I think he got a point, in the TT you have to be suicidal in a way, whereas in moto GP the risk is calculable... is more of a sport in the end.

  • TT is only for the elite...and not spoilt pussies lmao

  • i know alot about titty, its fanny for the bike hehe, gotta love that accent !

  • Even if Rossi went flatout i doubt if he would win a race. Like he says: it is something else.

A normal race track is 5 km long. The TT is 60km long so track knowledge is much more important.

And with on your left and rigt nothing but trees and walls you need A lot of guts to go 100%

I've got a lot of respect for the riders here

  • MUITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  • i rekon one of the dunlop boys could beat him

  • It's good to see him walk

  • An awesome biker is an awesome biker.

Why diss Valentino? Sure he's never going to ride the TT in anger, but he has respect .

The TT is the last link to the days before purpose built. circuits existed.

Everyone with a bike dreams of screaming down curvy sweeping country roads on the ragged edge.

Long may the TT last and long may circuit racing also entertain us in its own way.

    Viva la bike!

  • @guffydrawers plenty if road races left in ireland

  • TT is the sickest craziest form of racing..you have buildings you have obstacles to distract you while a race track is open road and grass and sand and the roads in moto gp tracks are wider ..only 24 feet wide in TT.

  • you guys are blind,he was just taking a tour Isle ot man TT!!!!!!!!!!

(for translation check a dictionary!) huahuahaua

  • the TT is like the Super Bowl of bike racing lol. the greatest racers on the dealiest course, very nice. im sure Rossi could handle it

  • When you have his sort of money, a long full life has plenty of attractions!

  • GRAZIE, Agostini e Rossi per la guida nella nostra vita.

THANKS, ........................FOR RIDING INTO OUR LIVES.

  • to me tt is like professional street riders they are great riders hats off to them.

  • No way would Rossi even dream of racing here at 130mph average. He complained like a little pussy when they where asked to to ride at Laguna Seca from 2004 He said it was too dangerous, so they spent millions refurbishing the track before they finally went there. Rossi is a fantastic MotoGP rider, but IOM is another story altogether

  • Get a life u weirdo

  • As with any form of motor sport, you need time and thinking as well as balls to make it. With Valentino, i,m not saying he will go there and win it straight away, but with a few years of racing it, i,m confident he can do it, he has natural skill to do it. Look for example of his exploits into rally driving, he did well against Colin McCrae, and he drives a formula car ok too. He has a steep learning curve.

  • insomma in pratica andava a spasso... non ce lo fanno vedere per bene.

  • i think that was an honest fair appraisal from a great great racer!

  • pmsl i carnt believe ppl are questioning valentino rossi like hes only been riding bikes a few yrs

this is a guy who was winning pretty much every race in a season while with honda and toying with the best riders in the world during the race,if you read his book he only left honda bekus he wanted a new challenge as it all became to easy which is why he went to yamaha to see if he could develope that bike into a winner.theres riders who do the TT every yr who will never win it.rossi wud in 2yrs

  • Ok fine...so John McGuinness would beat Rossi at the TT....And exactly which TT racer could beat Rossi on any MotoGP track?....,,,,,,,,,,,,yeah I thought so.

  • makes me laugh "he could do it if he tried", "he is shit"....anyone considered that he just did it partly because he was told to by Yamaha and also because he wants to have FUN... maybe some people should quit squabbling on youtube and go have some fun themselves eh?

  • Rossi the best

  • let me translate Rossi's comment...'brave=stupid'.
