Hah! I CANT hold a camera still! ...you need a tripod! I was stupid enough to buy one, brand new! ...I'd suggest getting a better 2nd hand one, over a naff new one!

Do a search for "Video Image Stabilization Program" on here, and you'll find a how too for virtualdub - hope it helps! ; )

Good tip for cheaper tripods: Use an elastic band. Put one end around the handle and pull the other end, it acts as a shock absorber, and 'should' even out your pan action nicely ; )

@ay76 Yes but it`s not what I tend to carry around with me, think the camcorders stabalise a lot better than the standard camera which I am useing, Trying to talk the wife into letting me have one????
