  • crossroads right?

  • @mark0tc right!

  • Shit, are those Donald Duck Dunn and Steve Cropper or are my eyes playing tricks on me O.O

Awesome, I believe this is the same year in which Joe Walsh was on the Farewell 1 tour with the Eagles

  • Killer work!

Last time I saw Joe in concert was in the late 1980's. Fantastic show. Seeing him here with Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn is amazing. I just wish the audio was better...it would have been nice to hear what Dunn did with that song.

  • Who's the drummer?

  • Steve Potts, I believe

  • Whoever mixed this should be shot. The drums are way too loud to the overall mix!

  • haha thats a good thing for me...I am trying to get the drum part down lol

  • Its not like this on the DVD I think it happened when it got put on Youtube, thats happened before.

  • Everyone that railed on TedRyan, give him a break. Joe was playing with a bunch of studio musicians. What he got wrong was that these guys aren't Kenny G inspired or even of that weak field. Anyone hear of Stax records? Yeah, all those early great soul records were backed by The MG's. In this clip, Joe is being backed by, probably, the best studio band EVER.

  • You cut out the best part! The 15 seconds before this clip starts, Joe rolls out on stage drunk as hell and nearly falls over.

  • joe aint drunk as hell, he's been sober since 1994 so your wrong

  • Damn straight. The Crossroads guitar festival is about curing addictions to drugs and alcohol etc.

  • the crowd it's so bad , no one moves!

  • well its more of a festival so i mean its a little more of a hangout

  • yeah, if i'm correct it's in austin and it was like an all day thing, people just came and went as they wanted.

  • Cool post..thanks...where was this one at-like Joe Walsh and this song!

  • this a case of the clapton. a great song from the 70s that sounds like ass when played with cheesy amps and with a bunch of kenny G inspired studio musicians. blah.

  • Umm actually dumb-shit, the band Joe is playing with is Booker T and the MG's Donald "Duck" Dunn on bass and Steve Cropper on guitar of the Blues Brothers are two of the musicians, Booker T. Jones is a great organist and I'm not sure the name of the drummer, ut he is kick-ass too. Maybe you have heard of the song "Green Onions"? If not look it up I'm sure you know it, and btw, look up the band in general ...

  • Yeah, right, TedRyan is a real douche bag. Comparing Duck Dunn, Steve Cropper and Booker T Jones to Kenny G shows that he has absolutely no knowledge of the musical history of the Stax sound. Cheesy amps?? I'll take one of Ducks crappy amps any day. Besides, sounded real kick ass to me. Dumb ass!

  • I think Joe Walsh and the MG's make a great combination. But not as great as the James Gang of coarse.
