  • just use soap and water that helps to

  • IF YOU STILL READ THESE. Part Number 34542 is obsolete. Harbor freight stop selling that part number in 2010 and now selling Part Number 34552. Look it up at that site and its true. Search Tire Changer and it come out 3 different items and one of them is harborfreight. com/mini-tire-changer-34552.html Back than 34542 cost $100 because it can change tires up to 16 inch and now 34552 can change tires up to 12 inch and it only cost $44.99 plus tax.

  • lol if it says 35 put it to 45 yr gonna wear the crap out of that tire

  • I actually could not find this tool at Harbor Freight. I wonder if they do not carry it any more. However I did find it at Tractor Supply if you have those in your state. As far as balancing goes, Harbor Freight has a bubble balancer for wheels that I've had good success with. The balancer runs about $69.

  • @videospence 34542 is no longer made at all the tire changer that can change up to 16 inch tires is obsolete. Now they sell 34552 and it change tires up to 12 inch which are trailer tires. Now they sell Part 34552 is only $44.99 plus tax. No longer selling Part 34542 is $100 plus tax at Harbor Freight before it was still selling.

  • 非常に有益な

     どこで購入できますか?

  • harbor of china freight...with a little elbow grease and a little swearing you can change most tires. Do they also make a bubble balancer?

  • I have a mowing company-I get flats on my mowers at the shittiest times-I'm getting one tomorrow from Tractor supply-thanks for the great video-I don't need to balance mine so its perfect for what I need.

  • Nice! So what do you do about balancing?

  • @TreachourusJdogg its kinda hard to justify balancing a tire when your just going shred them on your drifter

  • @hvguy unbalanced tires cause ungodly vibrations, i dont know about you but if i was drifting i wouldnt want any vibration that could potentially cause a catastrophy

  • @naggerkiller you'd be surprised how balanced a 14" tire is from the factory

  • @TreachourusJdogg HF sells a balancer for ~$65

  • Good job dude. Thanks for the video....Whats the item number on this tire changer???

  • @20XER check out part 1 for the link, but its Item # 34542

  • You are dangerous.

  • Excellent presentation, thanks for posting.

  • im confused y do u over inflate your tires pass the manufactures limit

  • @legacy0226 for drift tires, you want them to be as stiff as possible, if you have them too low; they will gripp too much or fold off of the rim around a corner

  • Thanks man. I was gonna' bolt mine to the floor but your pallet idea is good- then i can move it around in the shop!

I got my machine for free from a good friend because he got a pneumatic machine. :)

do you have the motorcycle tire attachment?

  • when setting the bead you always keep your vavle stem out so the air goes in faster after its set put it back in and inflate to the recomended pressure

  • Great video... I learned a lot from it.. even though I work at a tire shop! Im used to the air powered machines.

  • Again here is where tire lube would help you. Also Harbor Freight sells a tire chuck that clamps to the valve stem so you can muscle the tire with two hands. Finally the 'insert' thing is called a valve core. thanks for making these videos because they are better than that other guys

  • @seizetheweakened the valve thing is actually called a schrader valve, and like I previously stated, this video was taken when I first bought the machine, and I now use lube to aid the process.

  • @hvguy - well if you want to split hairs then I would say the valve assembly is known as the schrader type (vs presta) but the little piece that unscrews is the valve core :0). In any case, being able to mount/dismount our own tires is pretty cool. But I still haven't perfected the ether bead-seating method!

  • @seizetheweakened lol, ill post up a vid of me seating a set of 20's for my 4runner... I usually spray in some ether, prop the tire up on 2 blocks so that the sidewall of the tire is supporting the whole assembly, then light it from the bottom...

  • where can i get that Tire Screw Insert?

  • those videos were really good. Im definitely going to have to check out harbor freight for one. I just bought their variable speed polisher/sander. I love that place.

  • shoulda got a chep pallet they weigh like 100 lbs anyways lol

  • I spent 30 G*Damd minutes outside (95 degrees) fighting with a tire and got nowhere. After watching your vid, the tire was mounted within 3 minutes. THANKS SO MUCH!!

  • Make sure the beads all the way around both sides are broken to get tire off easier and you can lube the rim with special tire soap for getting tire back on easier but can get more dangerous.

  • You need bead sealer man. That or at least some soapy water.

  • UPDATE: ive since then moved to houston where I bought a house and drilled 4 holes in my driveway and bolted it down.

    Makes it sooooo much easier.

  • Dude this is a very informative video series. The pallet idea is genius. Good video!

  • I don't understand why you CANT use this harbor freight tire changer for an ATV tire. does it have to do with the way the rim mounts ? or are the tires too large ?

    thanks

  • @georgiabigfoot - I've used this changer for golf cart tires with no problem

  • they actually offer a motor cycle tire changer attachment for this manual tire changer on there website and also carried nationwide in all Harbor Freight locatons. Steve HFT Store 143 Flint.mi

  • Too much air on a new unproven tire isn't what I would do.

  • I had just removed that tire prior to the video, because I knew it was an easy one. THus it was proven to hold air. And not explode.... although, I have never had a tire exploded in all of my drifting career at 40-50psi.

  • pretty sweet
