  • OW THAT WAS LOUD!!!!! (using headphones)

  • Damn physics, you scary!

  • They are using explosives to fuse splices together. When the power comes up, the explosives blow melting and fusing the splices together.

    Simple really, but quite impressive.

  • It looks like they opened the lines... anyone know what actually happened?.... cuzz that one line looks like it might be damaged

  • thank god i turned down my headphones....

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Those wires are under unimaginable amounts of tension. But i am glad to hear the professional opinions of so many desk jockeys. Also for the person that suggested photo shop? WTF really like some one when out took a crapy 46 second video of electrical towers just to photo shop (6sec X 25ish FPS) 150 individual frames that have the same crapy qualify to make a explosion. BTW if you are wondering why the wire is still up its because its being supported by insulators that are attached to the tower.

  • Press 6 for explosion :D

  • 0:27 explosion

  • Congraulations! It's a flashover!

  • Mas que curto circuito feio, ein?

  • too much solder i think in this one.

  • The heat is so intense that it evaporates all the oxygen within the 'fire' envelope, just like lightning. When the surrounding air moves back into the vacated pocket, you get a boom like thunder as the air fills the vacuum.

  • Are you Zues? (Just Kidding) But that explosion was incredible?

  • @almostskaters411 you have crap in you? just joking.

  • i had the computer volume turned up hella loud and it scared the crap outa me

  • Fake, waste of time

  • @rsv1000tomzek Lol?

  • its fake

  • How did that happened

  • it kinda sound like a thunder

  • It's called a 'Pylon', not 'Electrical Tower'. But awesome!

  • its fake guys

  • @Kasayk310 hows that fake?

  • @OneLastStrike well the explosions don't look real, and you'd think that an explosion that big and over that wide of an erea would cause at least 1 wire to move.

  • @Kasayk310 i take it youve never seen this happen on a misty day?

  • @Kasayk310 Idiot, how is it faked?

  • they were tensioning the cables, this is the result as this is at the other end of the lines

  • oh my gooooooood !!!

  • Im sorry, but im pretty sure thats photoshopped, the explosions are pretty much the same and the wires didnt shake at all.

  • Jeez... how loud was that in real life?
