  • where r u located?

  • Luv luv the hair style i was trying 2 figure out what 2 do 2 my hair

  • This is just Amazing!!! If I were to do this, would I be able wear a side swoop? Thanks in advance!

  • this is the best video for me on youtube lol she did it nice and slow and i think the hair net might help out alot too when some people dont have enough hair around the perimeter of theyre head

  • Nice..You thought me Something :)

  • This client needed a bang, her forehead is so big! she wud have looked way better and younger with any type of bangs...

  • that was v.informative... my first time to see how sew in weaves are made.. Thanx

  • How do you wash your hair with a net

  • whats the actual point of the mesh cap if your not sewing onto the mesh cap your still sewing onto the braid. ?

  • I don't know if this matters and don't quote me but, I think the hair differs between the 2010 (black and gold) and 2011 (this one, red and gold) videos because the hair colors differ. It COULD be the change in packaging/hair, I don't know, since I haven't tried either. The 2010 video hair is Color #1B and looks more silky and vibrant. This video's hair is Color #2 looks more ashy and dead which can happen with lighter colors. Either way, thanks for doing this video, SBD4L.You rock!!!

  • I am so sorry. I clicked on the wrong video under my favorites and posted my comment without realizing I was on the wrong page. Please delete it (and this one), I would have but couldn't and couldn't private message you to make you aware sooner. Thanks so much!

  • LOVE THE HAIR!!!@UniQueLeeMade? DO YOU OR DO YOU EVER SPLIT THE TRACKS???? THE REASON I ASK IS BECAUSE I HAD DID A SEW IN IT WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT (FAILED)AND IT WAS VERY THIN I HAD CUT THE TRACKS.. I HAD DID EVERYTHING RIGHT THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS IT WAS THIN..DON'T THINK I SHOULD HAVE SPLIT THE TRACKS...HEY PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT PLEASE COMMENT OR LEAVE A VIDEO RESPONSE..

  • BEST VIDEO:)

  • This was a great job! I thought a full sew in was with all the hair braided in. Will you post a video with all of the hair braided in and sewn. Thanks!

  • Firstly, thank you for posting such a CLEAR video you did such a wonderful job, I'm just confused on a few things. When you sew the cap on, what are you sewing it onto (the braid?) Also when you begone sewing the tracks onto the net, I couldn't see what 'triple threading' the needle was exactly. Are you pulling the needle through and then wrapping the excess thread around the needle? Thanks

  • great job I'm in hair school an they don't teach sew inns you really helped me out thanks so much

  • love this i am going to do this to my hair ...its so pretty ...

  • Beautiful! Looks so natural!

  • Can you one with a side bang just as detailed as this video was thanks

  • do you also trim the bottom of the wig cap off when you finish sewing in?

  • how much would you charge for this> i usually charge 50-65 for all the works sewing in cutting and curling ;( and i been sewing the stupidest way ever ugh but thank you for this video!

  • @greenflames21 heyyyyy..On average, I charge $95 for that style because it is quite a bit of work; however, if it needs to be cut/curled it's more. It normally takes me abt 2 1/2 UNLESS I'm chatting a lot! Lol.. Andddd, I do cut the additional net at the bottom if any is hanging out..

    Hope that helps!

  • hey how long did this take you to do> 2 hours? i always sew over and that takes forever :(

  • Very neat

  • i L O V E this. how much would you charge ?

  • Comment removed

  • what'd you use to keep her edges down on the side?

  • @h0neydip11 I used Olive Oil Edge Control

  • This is gorgeous!!!

  • @jazzmia123 Thank you!!

  • this isnt a full sew in a full sew in is when you dont leave anything out.......can you do a vid on that

  • this is awesome girl!!!!!

  • @branbranification Thanks a mil!! I'm glad you enjoyed

  • at our best we r all teachers u my dear are at your best thanks for the video this was the best by far ;}

  • @kyshia514 I greatly appreciate that!

  • Oh yeah do u push the needle thru the wefts or under them when sewing the hair to the braids?

  • @MrsAmj83 Yes, the net definitely helps out a lottttt and also, I sew under the wefts for the most part. The only time I go through is when I've just folded the wefts, or starting a new pack. Hope this helps!!!

  • Hi!!! My question is would using the weave net make it more better and less hassle to do sew ins with leave out?

  • I just want to know how my hair would turn out braiding in a circle pattern using wavy hair??? I don't want it to look like a wig

  • @iMRSMOODY Yeah.. you can braid in whatever braiding pattern you prefer, as long as it lays flat to the head and you don't sew in the direction of the braids ((circular)).

  • Gurl!!! I am sitting here tryin to figure out wat to do to my hair for my bday and u jus helped me out with that. I have never done a sew in but when i see something done step by step I can do it without a problem. Thanks hun i appreciate it!

  • Did you split the tracks before you did this?? And how many packs of hair did you use??

  • Love this Vid! I can't braid that small and neat or in that pattern. Do I have to braid like that or can i do corn rolls to the back?

  • Hands down the best sew in tutorial on the YT....Great look, great job.

  • @purlstone THANKS A BUNCH!! I def appreciate you watching

  • Good video! You remind me of a girl who used to do my hair:)

  • Thank you for slowing it down and getting close! Best tut of a sew in I have seen on here.

  • How would you do a sew in with all the hair braided? Im going natural and i dont want to leave any of my hair out. Also im looking for some wavy hair, or loose curls. What do you recommend?

  • Wow, this was wonderful and the final result was lovely. I'm ready to try it. Thanks lady for the video.

  • That's FYE girl!!! You've inspired me to try to ATTEMPT a sew-in :)

  • @DeKeShAy32 Lol.. Try it and let me know how it turns out!

  • You did a bang'n job..think I may be trying this method because you made it look so simple. GOOD JOB!!!

  • Best I seen on the YT! Gives me hope that I can try on my own head for the first time

  • @KylaKel Go for it girl!!

  • You did a fantastic job love it :-)

  • @Brighteyedgurl25 Thx girlie!!

  • @UniQueLeeMade Hi I love your hair videos and the inspirational words that you gave in regards to transitioning to natural in one of your prior videos. This is my 2nd attempt at tranisitoning to natural and this time I want to Lock my hair and grow dreadlocks :) I usually wear sew in weaves and but I wanted to know is it healthier for your hair to wear a sew in weave without leaving hair out? When I leave hair out it usually results in thinning or heat damage while the rest of my hair grows.

  • @realwi1 Hi there!!! Honestly, it can work either way--DEPENDING!! Sometimes it's better to sew it down bc, like you said, it's less heat/weather damage on your hand. On the other hand, it can sometimes be beneficial to have 'some' leave out on the sides if your edges aren't too strong to prevent breakage.

But personally, I like to have some leave out and flex rod my leave out instead of using too much heat!

    Hope this helps!

    --UniQue =)

  • you did great hun! love it!
