Idiots.Green revolution,as it iwas then known helped India and other nations attain food sufficiency in the 1950s. Appallingly our scientist have the temerity of telling us they are not gonna sleep on the job as if sleeping on the job is optional.These guys are as fake as their perfomance so far.On a different note, while doing some study in eastern province in the last century,I was introduced to a draught resistant, early maturing maize variety called KATUMANI. What became of it KARI Director?

depending on maize is absurd. 2009 and people still depend on one single crop. teach people other ways and means. if you are not able to provide food for your population you are not a nation. maize are cattle feed. it is about time people wake up
