People are missing the point of the video. He says the S-10 looks like a clunker, but its not. Its mileage is too good. The Cadillac looks great, but qualifies as a clunker because of its mileage. Neither was used as a CFC vehicle.
They don't need to bad talk the S-10. Its a little beat up, and needs a little engine repair. Other than needing a little repair, its a solid truck. They sold these trucks new.

Facts on Cash for Clunkers:
1. 8 of top 10 vehicles sold by dealerships are from foreign owned manufactures - Honda, Toyota, Hyundai.
2. There is 42% part content in these top 10 made in the US or Canada.
3. Of the 42% many parts are made by Foreign owned manufactures.
This means profits go to Korea, Japan, and China (because that is where Japan and Korea buy sub-components). Our hard tax dollars at work!
