Take a look at all of your fuses. There are two fuse boxes, one on the left side when sitting in the miata by your left knee under the dashboard and one under the hood on the right side by the firewall.
For some reason the Turn signals on my 1990 Miata stopped working, along with my tachometer and my oil pressure gauge. Any ideas to what the problem might be?
thank you so much for this vib. it actually save me some money. I was told by my mechanic guy and he told me to replace the speedometer cable it will cost me $220. now that's insane...... once again thank you
Wow, what a great video. It took me longer to remove the non-working aftermarket security system that was in the way than to replace the speedo cable. I'll check out your store next time I need parts. Thanks.
I can't thank you enough for taking the time to make this video for all of us Miata owners. You saved me, God knows how much money! When my wife and I were riding down the highway in my 1997 M edition, all of a sudden the "check engine" light came on and the speedo just stopped. So I immediately went to google on my iPhone and found your YouTube video. You made it look so easy that I did it myself. I followed everything you said to a tee. I actually got to the clamp behind
Nice vid man!! been looking for the reason my speedometer was jumping. It wasn't noisy just stupid looking while your driving such a cool car. Thanks! I'm gonna get this done seeing as it's not that hard!! Thanks a million Miata KING!!
Excellent video and very informative and helpful. The only problem I had removing the cable was that I couldn't tell how the third clip that holds the cable in place behind the engine on the firewall. It simply is a strip of metal that bends around the cable. It is fastened at the bottom and wraps around the cable towards the top. Just unbend it slightly and the cable pops right out. Bend it back after cable is installed.
I did not think anyone would ever make this video, one of a kind! I need to replace the part, but it is expensive, I will find it someplace cheaper I hope :/
Do the New Miatas have plastic oil dip sticks? What do you do if it breaks off and you can't reach it with anything to remove the broken off dip stick?
I already tried but to no avail. All the fuses and bulbs are intact, my mechanic suspects a faulty signal switch.

Invaluable information here. There is no other car out there with as much repair information for a Miata between your channel and miata.net
