  • @tyuiop747 its in the caption, "Lrc"

  • good music!!!

  • Why is everybody posting "LRC" meanings? It's not Lrc. It's obviously an I, not an L. "Ode to Irc," not "Ode to Lrc."

  • @BigMcLargeHuge100 yeah but he says "ode to LRC" at the start. fool.

  • @BigMcLargeHuge100 ya blew it, ya dingus!

  • @BigMcLargeHuge100 I'm looking at the back of the album right now and it's clearly an L...

  • @BigMcLargeHuge100 dude, it's LRC, he even says it in the first line of the song, and it's in the caption as "Lrc", on the album, etc.

  • Seeing them tonight in Charlotte in one of the best venues! SO pumped!

  • lol its so funny how every person comments saying a different meaning for "LRC" :) :P

  • Ode To LRC, Funeral, Ghost House, No Ones Gonna Love You :

  • @gbbuell2 screw that they need to partner up with The Shins.

  • no "LRC" stands for "Little Red Caboose," a lodge of sorts that Bridwell stayed at by the beach in the middle of nowhere with no light, no cell reception and not much of anything

  • The world is such a wonderful place

    Wonderful Music and Band

  • LRC stands for lactose residental cycle!!

  • great song and vid ....ann

  • this is powerfully beautiful

  • to ppl wondering about what LRC stands for... it's Little Red Caboose, from what I have read, it is a resort in WA state - one of them wrote the song while staying there.

  • love the dripping sarcasm "the world is such a wonderful place", as if to say 'just keep repeating it 'til you believe it'

  • What is LRC?

  • @johnybladex I didn't know what it was either until I just looked it up... LRC stands for "Learning Resource Center", which is just a fancy way of saying "library" lol.

  • what is lrc?

  • Long as there are cards, kings will come out .. and as long as there are teachers will come out students. And as long as there are good students like these guys, good rock will travel through the centuries.

  • In my mid I think of the LewRockwellBlog for the first verse

  • Lew Rockwell rocks! Best song eva!

  • 12 dislikes? Well, there are at least 12 idiots in existence

  • @Ovalshine

    D'oh!

  • They need to partner up with My Morning Jacket for a song .... or CD :D

  • @gbbuell2

that would be a solid jam-they both have that same sound

  • I really don't get why this band isn't incredibly huge

  • @piggysheroo maybe it's just a good thing for them? Maybe their music would radically change to something stupid, terrible, shit (like it mostly is nowadays) if they suddenly start to gain fame.

  • @piggysheroo They had their song "Is there a Ghost?" in Due Date, and Kid Cudi sampled "The Funeral".

  • I must admit. I bought the CD just to get this song. ITS THAT GOOD! :)

  • 3:28 cuts me to the bone and makes me week with bliss

  • awesome!!!

  • @kalebird on youtube. look up Inspired Bike Stunts - Danny (something or other) it plays to the funeral

  • LA DA DE DA DA

  • I hope these guys do not go mainstream. They are too good for that.

  • @mezertin i feel the same way but they are on tour with kings of leon now....

  • @mezertin Since when is mainstream bad? Some musicians don't want to struggle to make ends meet and if they write good enough music to find popular appeal, why not? Here are some "mainstream" musicians you may have heard of: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan. Woodie Guthrie.

  • @CaeserOct You're right. Sick of tellin my cousin and friends sayin that. Going against every status quo, norm and being as anticonforming as possible is ridiculus. Others people's likes shouldnt matter for what YOU like. Enjoy the music, not very often does an artistic, unenhanced band get popular.

  • @CaeserOct hmrhmr john mayer , awesome musicia,n, plays like a freak sings like an angel and his lyrics are awesome too , most of the time :D

  • @CaeserOct mainstream has change since the time of The Beatles and Led, etc.. im not saying BOH sold out or anything cause i dnt know im not there (lol)? but i could see how they would, i.e suits telling them what type of music they "should" make. and shit like that.

  • @mezertin Just because something goes mainstream doesn't mean they are going to change their music or be anything less than who they have been. It just means that society is starting to like music that is really good and that takes real talent. Mainstream is money and these people deserve the money and the fame and i believe if they go mainstream then they wont change.

  • ......

    mitici Band of Horses !!!

  • it was ok but not as good as the other songs I've herd by them

  • Saw them in February. so amazing! <3

  • Saw them in February. so amazing! <3

  • ...i didnt know there was a "bad way" to find out about a band...

Just respect the music for what it is. And it is awesome.

  • thank you band of horses for making it all worth while

  • @savhartness

me too! from the prayer rite?

i love this band alot... evry song!

    :D

  • 10 people would rather listen to a band of humans

  • @hayleighhhhf

    i dont get it?

  • everyday in morning after school makes you everyday happy!!

  • love this song man!!

  • i love my hardcore/metalcore/punk bands but i also love my indie rock bands too, and band of horses is one of the greatest!!

  • Bridwell liked it, but my point was drvonrokage's comment of "do something with it" was absurd. If anything, it needs left alone. The only possible improvement would be cranking up the volume.

  • @drvonrokage if by "do something with it" you mean ruin it by rapping off-tune and only playing the intro to "The Funeral" over and over then that's a poor show of appreciation. At least he recognizes real music, though.

  • ha, yea im sure when guys like bridwell and ramsey heard that song they were really upset with the poor show of appreciation cudi illustrated towards them. dumbass.

  • Comment removed

  • kid cudi appreciated their music enough to wana do something with it

  • this song is actually from their second album 'cease to begin'

  • What does Ode to Lrc mean ?

  • nine people like justin bieber ....

  • amazing every single time.

  • I will never get enough of this song <33333

  • the world is such a wonderful place! who else agrees?

  • @kirbz01 maybe the world was a wonderful place in prehistoric times until intelligent human came along and destroyed the beauty of the planet

  • chill out.

  • @Kn0ckoutGaming smokebud evryday allday

  • i love them!

  • They sort of remind me of Neil Young, who is one of the greatests!!!

  • thanks for the brilliant quality upload

  • These guys are pretty great.

  • Fucking great band, really love this song

  • Love this band. What does Lrc mean though? lol.

  • I like these guys just as much as I like Band of Skulls!

  • yes i was the 300th person to like this

  • one of my all time favourite songs, ever. not just with band of horses, but.. ever.

  • I was privileged to see these guys at Splendour in the Grass a few days ago. Had to blow off Florence and the Machine and The Strokes to see BOH because they were all playing at roughly the same time on different stages-much to my 14 yr old daughter's annoyance because she had to be with me at all times. But for me these guys were the main reason why I went; and they did not disappoint. Despite Ben being sexually assaulted by a kangaroo....

The tent was rocking out and moved and transported.....

  • The world IS such a wonderful place... after hearing this song

  • @Hiedster321 try not to let all the crazyness get you down brother. keep at it!

  • @Hiedster321 I agree, but the song and especially that lyric is full of sarcasm. Kind of ironic, ain't it?

  • very nice album!!!

  • i heard them on triple j radio a couple of years ago...its so refreshing to still get music that isn't manufactured to make more coporate giants money

  • This is a terrific, atmospheric band. If you like them, try also the Dodos(esp. their Visiter album)

  • This Band Blows Major kitty !%^@@

  • i gotta thank macaskill.

  • @Trunksguy333 that is a sweet video.

  • @Trunksguy333

Isn't that video the best urban trials stuff you've seen? And with The Funeral playing, it just nails it.

  • @murdamcloud it really is. i wish i could do that.

and danny really has a crazy hop. O_O

  • wow this here Band of Horses frickin rocks. Why dont I hear them on the radio?

  • i heard of these guys through kid cudi... theyre awesome :)

  • me too :)

  • @savhartness i heard of them through a video on bike stunts where this dude is parkour-ing on a bike through edinborough

  • @Moe54N5411 that sounds mint, wheres tht vid

  • Comment removed

  • @CharlieLoweEFC he sampled the funeral in his song the prayer

  • Comment removed

  • @CharlieLoweEFC what the fuck..? yes, through Kid Cudi. listen to The Funeral by Band of Horses... then listen to The Prayer by Kid Cudi.

  • Comment removed

  • @CharlieLoweEFC for one you don't know what your talking about if you think Cudi made the song shit, he is fucking unbelievable, and two he is the reason i heard of this band which i think is amazing

  • @davis9187 he's fucking shite and should stay away from Band of Horses away.

  • @CharlieLoweEFC you realize you are getting mad at someone for discovering music through someone else hey if the person liked the kid cudi version and looked up the original version and liked it just as well, then i would say job well done one more person to like good music win for cool ppl and a lost for douche bags like you haha

  • @savhartness awesome i like both of them good stuff

  • @bebopband28 THANK YOU!! i dont really like posting comments because of ignorant people such as CharlieLoweEFC... and i really appreciate when people stick up for me :)

  • @savhartness or not.

  • @savhartness thats a really bad way to find out about such a great band.

  • @xxrojas15xx

why? kid cudi is cool, you dont have to just like one type of music you know?

  • @zeemonkeyman1 he is, but to find out about band of horses through a rapper who used it as an instrumental ?

  • @savhartness i heard of kid cudi through band of horses. ;)

  • If u like this, check out the norwegian band, Minor Majority- Come Back To Me

  • the way you guys play, it really is soooo flowing and smooth, i get the image of a herd of horses all galloping together in the wilderness, great group name, great songs, all very...inspirational

  • I remember 2 summers ago in Sydney driving to work (a job I hated)..and this song came on triple j...loved this band ever since.....:-)))

  • lnk for donload pls:(

  • album? pls:)

  • Band of Horses is one of the few bands with originality... For me it's the same thing if i say My Chemical Romance or Fallout Boys... They don't have an own style. They are commercial bands... Respect for Band of Horses.

  • @sketchonwall Comments like this make me proclaim... "Cheers to vomit and small time critics that get a random hard on and then feel obligated to flop it in the face of others... As if he's just discovered how to perfect an erection."

  • Band of Horses songs are so mellow and relaxing. Although it sounds somber at times, it is quite uplifting.

  • This is a beutiful song indeed.

  • Cool Video.

    Watch

    "Clickin' For Love Trailer"

  • I love the feeling I get when I listen to this song :)

  • AM ENJOYING.

  • yea men dam thats wonderfull ilthis...

  • nice band... very nice!!!

  • why do they doesn't appear on c.m.t. and g.a.c., they okkervil river and the gaslight anthem deserve a place on those channels, but they are very busy playing shitty music like taylor swift and miley cyrus

  • this is so beautiful...

  • one of their best!

  • you used the wrong album cover, but thx for the uplad nonetheless <3

  • Actually, LRC stands for Little Red Caboose, which is a train car that's been turned into a getaway resort in the state of Washington. Ben stayed there and wrote the song based on the "logbook" at the LRC, which I also mistook as "lobby" when I first listened to the song...So the logbook had stories about a dog who kept showing up for food but stopped showing up in 1993, etc...I thought it was about the library as well, until Ben set me straight at a show...

  • the world is such a wonderful place

    you're listening to the evidence

  • @loiraneih True, mate. This song is beautiful and the part when it slows down sends chills down my spine. Gives me memories of Christmas when I told the love of my life how I felt. This song was playing and we kissed for the first time when the slow part what playing. It was so wonderful and beautiful. That was when I realized that the world is a wonderful place if you let it.

  • @WarhawkMLKA it's amazing what memories music can trigger. :]

  • ...yeah...don't get me started. Haha! I'd probably blubber about it. Haha!

  • wrong cover?? isn't it the cover of "everything all the time??"

  • yeah, but this song is from "cease to begin"

  • I can't stop listening to this song...

    What the hell is LRC!?!?!??

  • In my experience, LRC stands for Learning Resource Center. I'm not sure that makes sense in terms of the lyrics of this song though...

  • @speshelly learning resource centre

  • I just found out they're coming to Orlando in April. Years of waiting is over... I can't wait to see them for the first time!

  • never has there been a band to ozoo such quality in every department. no comparison wil do them justice

  • The la di da's at the end of the song are awesome.

  • best song ever!! third

  • the name of the song is odo to Lrc not irc. correct in info but not correct in video title.

  • it could be a small L

  • video title isn't capped. capital I and lowercase L look the same ;)

  • @hunt3r010 possibly

  • anyone notice how similar the guitar is to Neil Young?

  • Yep - a lot of what they do reminds me of neil back in the day
