I am against that. I am disappointed in you for putting it to sleep...just take care of it and heal it!! Because it was thrilled eating the burger! I am mad now!

@JADEAV The dog was in the final stages of cancer, there was no healing it. It was living in pain. The only relief for that kind of illness and pain is euthanasia.

@doggzma I found the scripture about God banning that and not allowing them to put the pets to sleep....they take the pets' lives instead of letting God have the plans for the pets.....stupid creaters who made the ugly laws and force them to put them to sleep!

@JADEAV There is no way to heal end stage cancer. Nothing they could have done would have made it better, even taking it to the vet would have been in vain, they would have put the dog down as well. To provide human love and one last cheeseburger made that dog happy and she died surrounded by humans whose hearts were probably broken. Better to show mercy then to let her die in agony and no happiness.

ok, Sir Eldad I respect what you're doing for animals and it touches me deeply, but I'm not American, and I want to know why in your culture death is somthing horrible that no one should speak about, why are you saying "she went to sleep" while you're killing it? is it politically correct than (We killed her) ? in my opinion she didn't went to sleep, but you killed her to stop her suffering (which I respect as a descision and approve).

@Bwhaaa I think you need to understand the meaning of the word kill. Killing isn't something that is done from kindness or concern. If they say "we killed the dog" it brings to mind a dog that could have been saved, if you say we put the dog to sleep, people know that it was to end suffering.

My friend found her dog in the middle of the Mojave - she's was driving in the middle of nowhere, and there was this dog running along the side of the road. She stopped, opened her car door, and he jumped in. They've been together ever since.

She named him Desert Dog.
