The thing that bugs me about the new Rogers is that they look like Yamaha. You can put a script badge on them all day long, but at the end of the day they're still Yamaha. Personally, I think these sets are way under par to the originals. I have 5 ply maple Jasper shells and they sound PHENOMENAL with the mid range attack and warmth. Nothing quite like it.
The only thing that is the same as the old Rogers drums are the name plates, everything else is imported. It's basically a generic sounding kit for all intesive purposes.
I played the Babicz bridge at the show. It seems to do just the opposite of what it promises. I'm sure it's due to the fact that the design actually promotes crosstalk and frequency cancellation.

I like how the Rodgers' set comes with a Double Pedal. Not sure that the set would sound / feel good.
