The LOZ wasn't pre-rendered, it's real-time. Those are what Wii u graphics look like. To the next people who comment that the 720/PS4 will be some giant leap in power like this gen are being unrealistic. First of all from what I've heard, the 720 will only be about 20% more powerful than the Wii U. Is that considered a huge leap in power? Second, you're being unrealistic, as of now if you want a console with Avatar-like graphics it would cost shit-loads, not to mention that no developers would

@dtanobo - You need to shut the fuck up! The reason why 3rd parties are releasing games on the Wii U is because they want not just better graphics than the current gen consoles, but also adding new complexity and depth using the Wii U controller.

@TonyKanameKuran Sounds like a repeat of the wii. Let's keep the graphics in the gen that the other 2 consoles have moved past and make it 'interactive' with wierd gimics. First party games for the wii have been rarely about power so that's out and third party games are from this gen now. There isn't much space to write much but if the wii u comes out end of this year/early next year and the other 2 consoles havent even been announced yet then that should show something.

Both company's and Developers have stated loud and clear to not expect a huge jump like this gen. Next Gen will be Full Native 1080p, 60fps standard. So those Avatar graphics aren't coming. Sorry. Looks like the Wii U will be competitive after all.

So it looks like it all comes down to gameplay. And Nintendo has already given 3rd party devs a little more than a year to develop games. Smells like success.

@teddybruscie dude the wii o will be way more expensive the controller itself with be like 150 so if you want to play 4 player u have to buy for damn controllers that are the size of an ipad. Second looking at the hd games wii u has upgraded to ( which has already been done on ps3 and 360) games will be 60 bucks.THIRD wii u is the same as 360 or ps3 ps4 and 720 will totally crach wii u . FOURTH wii u is a last genaration console releasing in the end of this gen

Hardcore games like chase me, a tech demo of zelda, all your useless gimics from the wii are backwards compatible, 4 player split screen coop with 4 controllers, an epic online experience centered around online gaming and a great lanch title line up. i see a lot of RPG in-game inventory uses for the controller other then that not much more that an iPad between the Wii remotes. Because i do like the idea of it being an additional screen for "side actions" but i don't want it to be a primary screen.
