Hey I'd say that this is very good for your first try! Especially when the guy's face was getting squished, when the head was pressing down it was very smooth!
Lol at the end it said finis. I like it a lot though. Try to use higher FPS, it would be a lot smoother. It was already pretty smooth, though. Check out my claymations. So you didn't use a tripod? Amazing. I'll say take a few more pics, use higher FPS and use a camera that can focus. Also use the tripod. It was good yet you have much room for improvment!
Thanks for your comments, much appreciated! What program do you use to string together the pics? I'm just using Windows Movie Maker, each picture appearing for the smallest amount of time possible. Thanks once again for your advice to a novice!
I use photoimpression to make my claymations, using the highest FPS possible by adding the effect "fade" in between each picture, somehow it makes it go faster.
My first claynamation is called "the world in a ball of clay". It's not as good as this claynamation, but please watch it!
