  • fuck fags, worst thing ever to be sold on the market, fucks people up so bad, im quiting

  • Anyone trying to quit, read Allen Carr's "The EasyWay to Quit Smoking." It CAN be done.

  • Thank You for the vid. I quit cold turkey. I got to looking at all the so called "stressors" in my life that made me need that smoking crutch, and with counseling it took me a year, but I have now been smoke free since Oct 26,2010. I finally realised WHAT was making me reach for a smoke, and once I dealt with my other "issues" I was able to let it go. Peace to all. Sorry about your moms passing.

  • Thank you for that powerful little animation. My advice for people trying to quit is "cold turkey". You mustn't be afraid of the cravings. When I was quitting, my attitude when I woke up every morning was "bring it on" - i.e. the cravings. Be aware of the symptoms you are going to have and then meet them head on.

  • My sincerely condolences for your loss. I've been smoking for 47 years & have absolutely nothing wrong with me related to smoking. People get sick & die, that's the reality as painful as it may be. Just because someone smokes doesn't mean the smoking caused it. Did you know that more non smokers die of lung cancer than smokers? Using fear to get people to live their life according to dictates is wrong. Persecuting smokers is wrong. Live life as you see fit and leave others to do the same.

  • Addition to the list at the end: snus

  • Quit cold 2 months ago. Will NEVER smoke again.

  • 2 hours without

  • GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!! THANK YOU FO RTHIS MOVING VIDEO!

    YOU HAVE SAVED LIVES.

    I QUIT A WEEK AGO. : )

    I'M A WINNER!!!!

  • @mrliversalts I'm so sorry

  • lost my sister aged 40 from the big C she did not smoke or drink

  • I quit smoking 4-1/2 years ago after quitting multiple times. I started smoking with my girlfriend when we were in the ninth grade. She died of lung cancer a month ago at age 51. When you are young you think you have all of the time in the world. I can remember smoking our first cigarettes like it was yesterday. How stupid we were to start smoking.

  • Me, My fiance, and her 60 year old grandma all quit 7 days ago, it is really easy so far, anytime we need a smoke, we just grab the electronic cigarette to ease the pain...

  • DAMN, i got a knot in my stomach and almost threw up listening to the video. Smoking weather Heavy or Light will gradually Slow Cook the Lungs, just like a ham in the Smokehouse. I was a pack a day smoker for about 15 years but gradually decreased to about 3 cigarettes a day before i quit 4 &1/2 years ago. I'm glad i quit and I feel 100% better.

  • Alcohol causes at least seven types of cancer, including cancers of the mouth, oesophagus (food pipe), pharynx (upper throat), larynx (voice box), breast, bowel and liver. There is also increasing evidence linking alcohol to pancreatic cancer.

  • you know your right im truely sorry for what i said i know i need to stop smoking and drinking again sorry

  • today is 11 days no smoking! :) Im using Chantix

  • this is the bigest piece of shit i have ever seen why dont you quit liveing i love smoking so stick it up your ass

  • @1993spirit 1993 eh.. you'll regret your decision within the next 10 years

  • I quit 6 month ago

  • i quiet 26 years ago from 2 packs a day i am glad i did...

  • Comment removed

  • I'm sorry for your loss. Every living thing will die. How you LIVE is your decision. You can do what you want and enjoy it . It's natural to grieve and try to place blame. But to lobby to remove freedom of choice with images of your dieing Mother (in proper English you capitalize the family members' title like a name and it's disrespectful that you didn't) instead of celebrating her life. Celebrate her life and accomplishments and the things that you love about her! Live and Love Stop Hating!!!

  • i just never smoke:) and congratz to all u ppl and ppetz who quitted! :))

  • One week without. Trying to quit.

  • @MasaFinn Don't try. Do it. :)

  • @Ensiferum17 2 weeks without :)

  • @Ensiferum17 You are so right. On the one hand I regret that line, on the other hand it was my reality. But definitely you are right don't just try- Do it :) 13 years later I am still so glad I quit.

  • @MasaFinn You CAN do it.

  • 2 years ago for me, best thing i ever did!!

  • been 5 months of now =)

  • Look at this! You've communicated to over a million human beings with your video.

As most of us know, death certainly isn't the worst thing that can happen to a person.

Well done for quitting and thanks for sharing your experience with us.

  • GAY

  • peace to you little one

  • I quit smoking for 9 years and then started again. (like a complete idiot) I have now been smoking for about 15 years. I have tried several times to quit again with no success. I was 21 years old when I quit the first time. For some reason it's been much harder this time. I'm not sure why I'm saying this. I guess I just need to vent.

  • smoke pot better for you

  • I never even started smoking

  • I still smoke fuck it.. I want to die.. May as well be happy..;)

  • i quit 6 years ago, and i love myself for doing that!

  • i used to stand thru teh WORST kinda Youtube videos..and not only..i used to watch EVERY kinda graphic or "horrifyin content video on the web in 10 years

this is the VERY first time i have NOT THE SLIGHTEST COURAGE into watching this video

    its just.....too much...

  • your full of shit you do gooder fuck wit!!!! what about alcohol wot about gambling they are all far worse then smoking, now piss off and leave me ALONE!!!!while i go and enjoy another ciggarette mmmmmm PUFF PUFF

  • wow...great video. thanks so much... a public service to humantiy!

what people don't completely get is that nicotene is so addictive that you cant' get off when you are hooked. IT's hard to imagine, espeically if you are young, getting stuck on it.

My mom died of lung cancer, too. Poor thing lost her (smoking) husband suddenly and was able to quick cold turkey (after many previous tries) then without a smoker around her. Too late...she found a a month later she had terminal lung cancer.

  • my dad died of lung cancer, your vid is an eye opener, that cough reminds me of my dads cough, i quit smoking 12 days ago, i was having a craving....until i saw this. x

  • @katiebbbb1 I just want you to know that I am cheering you on to continue NOT smoking! (Both my parents smoke, my dad was just diagnosed with esophageal cancer a month ago.) But for me, a nonsmoker, I can not understand why anybody in this day and age would start smoking. I mean, sheesh, they were teaching kids about the dangers of smoking when I was in grade school - 35 years ago! Why can't people learn? Anyway, I didn't mean to go off on that - I really do wish you luck!

  • another scare video...b lah,blah,blah.....im 86 smoked all me life....get a dog up ya

  • need to go for fag!!=))

  • I quit smoking in June of 2010, after smoking for 26 years; I had quit because my doctor had told after a recent lung exam that if I didn't quit real soon, I was going to end up with emphysema - it is ironic that it took another 9 months before I did quit, and I needed the help of Chantix :)

And speaking of Chantix, if you are able to tolerate some of the side-effects, and you SERIOUSLY want to quit, I encourage you to try it. It only took me a month of taking it to quit :)

  • Dayum!!!!!!!! I'd somked for 8 years and it took me literally a year and a half to break free from the addiction. For the first couple of monthes I needed substitutes I drank Coke Zero like hell. Lots of water like crazy. I gained about 2~3lbs in 6 months, and now I'm totally back to normal. Actually I tried 2~3 times after quitting for a year and my brain actually liked it, but my intestine became TOO sterile to absorb the smoke, so I'm really clean now. Quitting is difficult but a must do.

  • I quit 37 days ago and will never pick up another.

  • @mair9776 come on you can feel the nicotene if you give up ciggies ya gotta given up alcohol mcdonalds gambling o and yes coffee they are all very bad for you lmao its all a scare tactic

  • @mair9776 i feel the same way. i quit three days ago and i feel great. i dont even have strong urges. my breathing is so much better, my mouth feels cleaner and i rest well at night. cigarettes must contain a chemical that makes you energetic. i say that because when i smoked i was able to stay awake even when i was dead tired. but any who, i am so proud of myself and anyone who quit. i quit cold turkey and believe me, IT"S EASY. I cannot explain how incredible i feel.

  • Dude why dont you make a vid of somone dead in a car ,, then say buyer beware! What a crock! We all got to die of somthin. My buddy got cancer of the liver he never smoked or drank! its all down to fate. My granny is nearly 90 and still puffs 10 ciggs a day!

  • @Hannible100

then your granny is one of the rare few who's body can handle all the damage the cigs do. SHe's one person out of the legions who get sick and die.

We all die of something...but exposing ourselves to poison kinda ups the chances that we'll die...and die of that. Smokers are the ones that talk like you do because they are so chemically addicted (and oftentimes psychologically) it's too hard for many to contemplate giving it up. What you are doing is called DENIAL, science proves.

  • @Keny990 pray!

  • @MsZebragurl101 haha why not ^^

  • could anybody help me to quit ?

  • @Keny990 nititin gum, fake ciggarettes, the patch, anything but the real thing

  • @mewichigo64 it wont work i m a fool :(

  • @Keny990 Give Chantix a whirl; if you are sincere about wanting to quit, I believe it may be the answer for you. Chantix does have side-effects, so I would advise you to research it a little, or ask your physician about it. I was a smoker for 26 years, and I quit within one month of taking the Chantix, so I know it will work for at least some of us :)

    Good luck to you!

  • @OneWiccanHighPriest Thanks im soooo glad about every answer thx man :D

    i try it

  • Wow, your mother was a cartoon?!

  • thats why we smoke weed there are no deathreports from it and canabis doesnt cause cancer i studied on it and asked scientist at ucla geffen school cigarettes are horrible its safer to smoke weed it has less chemicals i dont even think it has any well stay away from cigars but fill free to smoke weed

  • @mikemojunior1 weed does a whole lot more brain damage. ive seen it for myself it sends some people skitz, what do you mix your weed with? tobacco? you cant possibly smoke that smelly shit straight?

  • NEVER Going To Smoke.

  • I've never touched a cigarette and never will! oUo

  • That's how I quit - got scared into it. Took me less than a week to quit. Being reminded of that makes any other method pale in comparison IMO.

  • An old black man asked me for a cigarette one day. I told him that I didn't have one because I don't smoke. He said, "Dat's good, son. Dat's good. "Cause dem thangs is evil. Dey's evil." Well mister, why are you going around asking people for one. "Well, dey's evil, but dey's good." HUH?

  • If you guys need to smoke, those electronic cigarettes seem to be a much healthier alternative.

  • I'm scared.

  • My dad died at 32 from smoking so if u think it dosent happen to young people think again. I'm giving up today as I'm also 32 now I'm doin it for my dad. Why dont you reading this do it also. Like the lottery sais ' it could be you' remember that everyone has cancer cells its just whether u set em off. Smoking is like holding a naked flame next to a stick of dynamite.

  • I am reading a Allen carr easy way , great book, most successful of quit smoking books !

  • Im in the process of quitting using Varenicline. cigarettes are evil. I wish I fully understood that before I ever picked up a cigarette.

  • fuckkkkkk iwish you nobody have cancer!

  • My mum died from lung cancer in 2004 - she looked like the drawing when she'd passed over - it was horrendous!!! :(

  • 3...

Dude quite us Americans help others and don't base us off stereotypes Americans help one another and what country doesn't have rude people and overweight so honestly the only reason we get involved in wars is that we like helping other countries so give me some real complaints about America then talk some more and also u don't ever see Americans dissing other countries so see America is full of caring people

  • @Crazziesrherhere It's very convenient that the countries we want to "help" just happen to have profitable resources. Iraq has oil and Afghanistan has tons on untapped mineral deposits. There are plenty of places with nasty dictators that we aren't bothering with. It's all about resources and empire building. The founding fathers were anti-imperialists. War is unamerican! As a patriotic American I am voting against war and imperialism. I am voting for Ron Paul!

  • i quit successfully 11 year ago

  • .......i bet, you're all american and hypocritical idiots anyway.....postoffice - car.....pint of milk - car - taking a fart - car - mum dying - take a video (!!!)...war ? - we just mix in and wer're RIGHT ANYWAY and ANYWHERE.... I really hope, you americans stop sobbing soon....but it's the only thing you're good at :-)))))

  • smoking is natures way of culling the herd of stupid people

  • the worlds falling appart, pollution at its worst, exstinct animals every week, drugs raping our children, corruption rife along with it comes cool deception, murder,s every second, kidnappings, pedophiles protected after raping a childs life, violence like we have never seen, drunk drivers killing each week, knife attacks each day, BUT no dont worry about that, its too too hard, lets bash the smoker,s to death like we caused the above as well, fuck off non smoker,s you really are missguided people..

  • My Mom died a month ago. I know what you felt. But this vid is terrbile - should u know.

  • Wow your mom was very cartoony. Sorry for your loss.

  • @lukeboppers Sorry to hear of your loss; loss being the operative word, feeling utterly lost myself atm and when things start going wrong with the brain it is harrowing / truamatizing/horrible to see, good bless to you all!

  • I quit almost 7 years ago. Never touched one since.

  • This is right on top of the list of the most painful & unspeakable type of deaths to witness or go through!!

These foopkin cig companies put such powerful chemicals in these things that the "best of us" have a hard time giving up even when face to face with a loved one dieing!

  • 15 years smoke free.

  • I can actually stop smoking overnight, I've done it a few times before, no craving for a cigarette what so ever.

But I'd rather stick with my sweet, sweet cancer sticks...

You might not like me being a smoker.

You really won't like me when I don't smoke.

  • Btw my Mum had emphazima as well, also my mums calcium went through the roof, she went like someone with dimensha, that was one of the hardest part she didnt know me, also the cancer went from the lung to the brain, absolutely devasted I wish this had not happened it has changed me in a horrible way and I really am not enjoying life anymore

  • @MrFoxfire29 I agree guy's are just as close. The night my mother told me she had a brain tumor i died inside a fair bit :(.

  • When I watched this video I knew this would happen to my Mum , it did and it was harrowing/ the most horrible thing I have seen/had whilst on this planet in my 32 years (and Ive had, shall we say a very diverse life so I dont say that lightly) I smoke but am going to try and stop in the next month, to anyone saying KEEP UP smoking; with respect thats ignorant & you 100% would not be saying that if you lost somone close enough to you

Respect out to the video poster for looking after their Mum

  • I watched this before my Mum died, she just died a few weeks ago of lung cancer and all I have to say to the person who made this video is I hope your holding up okay. People say girls are generally closer to their mums(A generalisation), I am a guy and my Mum was everything to me, the death has wrecked me and I witnessed my mother in a similar state for about 4 days, I hear that it can go on longer than that so I am lucky in that respect but I am still truamatized

  • Cigarette free since November 2011....just after being diagnosed with colon cancer. For me, having the reality of a major disease is what did it--hopefully for others it will be something much smaller. Bless you all,

  • we are all gonna die, and whichever way will be horrible 90% whether u smoke or not!

  • @Madgethecat yes I could die from being ran over but it don't mean I want to step in front of a bus.

  • thank you for this video, it really helped, much love to you!

  • my grandfather has lung cancer e doesn't smoke! maybe those sickneses in purto Rico attached to him... he's still alive 0_0

  • my husband's aunt died of lung cancer & never smoked, sometimes it just happens

  • The guy who lives a couple of houses down smoked & is still alive, but his wife died from his 2nd hand smoke. I remember seeing her walking down the driveway after chemo & most of her hair gone. They were walking together slowley & she had a faint smile on her face as she looked up towards the sky, then she died later. We just never saw her again, he still smokes, it drifts down the street & I can smell it. sad story, but true.

  • I don't like or socialize with people who smoke but people should not have to die for being stupid. throt cancer is cured easly by mixing a teaspoon of bicarb of soda in a glass of water and gargle with it 3 times a day for 6 months. try it . or see 'natural cancer cures' on the net or cancer is a fungus on youtube

  • MY UNCLE DIED OF LUNG CANCER ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO LOOKED JUS LIKE THIS DIED LOOKING LIKE THAT TOO VERY SAD AND I CANT GET MY HUSBAND TO QUIT SMOKING I TELL HIM ALL THE TIME HOW MY UNCLE LOOKED AND HOW I DIDNT WANNA EVER SEE A PERSON DIE LIKE THAT BUT HE JUST CANT QUIT THESE ADDS DO NOTHING FOR HIM

  • People are sick enough in their head without smokin' at all! Freaks!

  • Lol

  • Smoking is like selling your soul to the devil. You won't get free unless you are born again.

  • Don't mention it !!!!!

  • Been cigarette free since 1992. Thank You Jesus!

  • im so sorry about your mother :-(

  • I hate it when "bad asses " comment on here really people no one deserves to die we r not perfect! And widen up time to stick a dick in her mouth? WTF grow up u stupid mother fuckers! How would u like it if someone ass munch said that about ur mom/ family member? Ya I wouldn't like it to so stfu PLZ and GROW A PAIR AND GROW UP! think u ;)

  • Cigarettes should be illegal

  • ive been smoke free 6 months it was easier than i thought best thing ever. I lost my uncle in 2010 to lung cancer aged 46 it can take anyone at any age .

  • Next time some so called " pal " insists you have a cigarette or a joint...

  • ive been smoke free since the 21st november 2011

  • SHE DESERVED TO DIE AND SO DO YOU!

  • @Froggatt :( But why?

  • lol time to put a dick in that mouth wide open!!! lool

  • @manupee :D Hahahahha

  • But it takes more than one, you would need to smoke at least 100 a year to get smoking related lung cancer.

  • @MilibandDavid 10 a day + social events+ depressive periods = a hard minimum of 3,365 per year so 10 a day is lethal. Thank God I quit.

  • i quit smoking a long time ago and i succeeded the only thing that i am not controlling is

drinking alcohol! thats a bigger problem for me!

  • none of those listed work. Read Alan Carr's The Easy Way To Stop Smoking. He explains in great detail why 'addiction' is a myth. You must understand why you started and why you continue to poison yourself before you are able to stop doing it.

He also says 'You won't remeber when you stopped smoking after reading this book'. The woman in this video does (8 years). I have no idea when I did.

  • @carriemaizey totally true any habit"smoking "can be beaten in 3 days thru alan carrs way i,m free 4+years from a 20+ day habit because of him

  • I have been quit for 1 Year, 11 Months, 2 Days, 16 hours, 30 minutes and 14 seconds (701 days). I have saved $6,315.18 by not smoking 21,050 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Months, 2 Weeks, 2 hours and 10 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 1/24/2010 1:07 AM no more ciggs yea thanks to Welcome to The Voices of Nicotine Recovery. Visit us at health.groups.yahoo.com/group/voicesofnicotinerecovery for a meeting schedule and recovery information.

  • @kimaut22 See what I mean :D?

  • funny prank ?

  • electric cigaretrttes are a very good alternetive! theres absoultely nothing unhealthy about them

  • So it took you six years to quit after your mother died ?? Not that i would ever smoke because i'm not that weak but i would stop as soon as i saw my mother dying a painful death from smoking!

  • DANGER: turn back to the previous video you were watching, this video slides you into the wierd part of youtube

  • Cigarettes was never really addicting had my first when i was 8 started again around 15 then i stopped its only weed now

  • smoke hookahs not cigarettes :p

  • @goodbadugliest its bad for you , theres no point , so your encouraging people to die faster? smoking reduces your life and can kill you

  • @goodbadugliestfreedom is awesome and id smoke if it was illegal too, but thats not the point to it, it doesnt make you feel good after some time.. but quitting is something only you can decide on, i personally hate it when my friends put pressure on me, for once my friend said: quit or were not friends. she said it with a lot more words but it still hurt so bad.. quit because you want to not because they tell you to, because im trying to quit for the second time.

  • @goodbadugliest You're a fucking idiot!!!!!

  • @goodbadugliest Its true what you said but i think the uploader is showing the dangers of smoking, my dad died 3 years ago, 2 weeks before I turned 15 from cancer which he got from smoking, I started smoking then aswell, It somehow helps but not fully, I badly want to stop smoking

  • @goodbadugliest poison is legal do buy also and we are told not to take it does that make those people nazis also

  • @goodbadugliest To all who drink bleach, KEEP IT UP! It is legal, its is YOUR choice! Dont let these Anti Bleach Chugging Nazis, worm their way into our society any more. BTW I do not chug bleach, I just LOVE FREEDOM!!

PS: Goodbadugliest is an IDIOT!!! Got it? GOOD!

  • @homebuiltindoorplane Perhaps not the most eloquent way of putting his sentiment, no, but ultimately, sure. It is an individual choice. And with all of the information we have available to us, I believe truly and honestly that making an informed decision about what you're going to put in your body is the only regulation this should have.

  • @homebuiltindoorplane I hope you know, that bleach is not meant to be consumed whereas tobacco is. The anti-tobacco lobby really is strong, just as well as the tobacco lobby, and I would like to ask you:

Excactly why is it right that the anti-tobacco lobby is publishing such disgusting nonsense? Do you reallly think, that just because some people can't control their consumption, I should have my right to smoke once in a while taken away from me?

  • @OJOdin WRONG! They are LYING about whats INSIDE cigarettes! GOT IT? They kill FOUR MILLION PEOPLE EACH YEAR! They are NOT cigarettes, they are NICOTINE DISPENSERS, including 1100 OTHER DRUGS! If you CANT CONTROL your addiction, (your words) then YOU ARE A DRUG ADDICT, got it? Good! Factories arent allowed to pollute the air we breathe, and YOU SHOULDNT EITHER!

  • @homebuiltindoorplane several courts all over the world have concluded that there are no addictive drugs added to cigarettes (except nicotine of course). Cigarettes are cigarettes - if you are addicted then they might act as nicotine dispensers. One thing is for sure - the "pollution" from cigarette smoke is negligible. I have no addiction to control hence I'm no drug addict - by the way I smoke pipe and not cigarettes.

Smoking doesn't kill anyone - people kill themselves.

  • @OJOdin So what about all the people who die of passive smoke? people just kill other innocent people eh? I smoke but the fact is smoking is NOT natural, it DOES kill us.

I want to give up because i recognize it will kill me instead of living in denial.

  • @TheLydianRocks this whole secondhand smoke thing is a big fat scam. It is nothing compared to car exhaust and other gases we pollute the air with.

Maybe smoking isn't natural, but it's still up to you whether you wanna smoke, hence you are the one increasing your risks of getting diseases, not the smoking itself. Also increased risk /=/ cause.

If you wanna quit cigarette smoking you could try smoking pipe instead - it's far less harmful. The transition for me was very easy.

  • @OJOdin I friend of mine died of lung cancer last year. His wife smoked for 25 years. He never smoked and he never sat in a garage with a car exhaust. Your comment is shows your ignorance. Smoking pipe isn't not smoking. Pipe smokers have a far greater instance of lip cancer because of the heat. Wish I could thumbs down you enough to make your comment disappear. People who make cigarettes believe profits are more important than people lives. Shame on you for making their case for them.

  • @MichaelIsabel I'm sorry about your friend. But you should try to be a bit more open-minded. You automatically assume that his cancer was caused by smoking because that's what you learned. If he lived in the city he would be inhaling car exhaust on a regular basis. It could also be genetic - the only fact is that neither we nor scientists know what causes cancer - all they know is what increases the risk.

  • @MichaelIsabel I have nothing to do with tobacco companies and I'm not saying, that smoking is safe at all - I just find all the cancer talk very hysterical as it's not even close to being the biggest risk a smoker takes by smoking. Also diet is at least as important as not smoking - but hey, if people wanna take a risk and enjoy life well knowing what it can lead to - then why bother them even more with gross anti-smoking commercials?

  • @OJOdin Smoking is considered the cause of lung cancer in 90% on men, and 80% of women diagnosed with the disease. 15% of lung cancers are in people who never smoked including second hand smokers. I'm open minded. 90% is 90%. The other 10% is bad, but 90% deserves no defense. You should be more open minded. Education is the least invasive, most cost effective battle against anything bad. It doesn't force people to do anything. It informs them of the consequences. Enjoy your pipe.

  • @OJOdin If you're worried about unfair coverage of cancer and not enough on emphysema, there are plenty of vids here about that too. I wonder if you post on them the unfair coverage of emphysema and not enough attention on cancer.

  • @MichaelIsabel yes, I am worried about unfair coverage of cancer and not enough on emphysema - cause people deserve to know the truth. So far there has been no single document proving smoking to cause cancer, therefore speaking about carcinogens is pure nonsense as it is still unknown what actually causes cancer. Instead of spending money on making useless statistics they should try finding the actual cause. Instead they spend their energy on trying to regulate my freedom.

  • @OJOdin I know facts won't convince you so after this I'm done. Men who smoke are 23 times more likely to get lung cancer than those who don't. That's convincing enough for me. It is unethical and immoral to have a large double blind study on smoking to satisfy the pure scientific method requirements because it would kill so many people. Hundreds of compounds in cigarette smoke are known, proven carcinogens. Good luck in your search. Sorry if I sounded harsh on you.

  • @MichaelIsabel I'm sorry, but the mentioning of "proven carcinogens" show me your ignorance. There is no such thing as a proven carcinogen. Before the actual mechanism of cancer-development is known, using that term wont make much sense. Men who smoke have a risk that is 7 times greater, not 23. And we're only talking about men who smoke about a pack a day or more - those who are not addicted and only smoke once in a while don't have a significantly greater risk.

  • @OJOdin Somewhere between 7 and 23 times more likely. That's okay. I'm still convinced. The cancer-DNA mutation steps aren't fully understood but establishing that a substance is a cancer causing agent a.k.a. carcinogen is a pretty simple test. You should youtube it. You're making the 1960's arguments Phillip Morris made until facts and science proved them wrong. It says on your cig pack: Smoking causes cancer. This is proven.

  • @OJOdin If you want to make an argument for less gov't control in your life, cool. No need to defend evil to do it.

  • @homebuiltindoorplane you can die in hell its not good

  • @goodbadugliest People die of wrong choices you know and smoking is not freedom, its an addiction.

  • cool

  • @ragnaroksama are you dump?

  • to all who smoke, my name is thomas and my father also died from lung cancer by smoking 5-6 packs daily, in other words, non-stop from morning to bed time, when he died i was so angry that i went into suclusion for about 1 year in my home not going out due i hate tobacco products and when i see people smoke i laugh at them. i don't allow any smoking in my home if a visitor needs their smoke, go outside.

  • not this part of youtube!!! kids go upstairs!

  • @Anonymous32000 Yes it will heal.

  • Well, smoking does increase the risk of getting lung cancer, which I strongly believe is the point of this video.

  • How.. HOW did I get here from Nichijou?

    (Still sad.)

  • NOW WAIT A MINUTE! I have something called Asthma and once and a while I have something called a "Mucous Build up" and whenever I go to sleep with those two things I sound like that. Way to make me feel like I have a problem that may kill me a lot sooner than most. I hope your happy making a person with Asthma, "Mucous Build up" and Anxiety. Hope your happy.
