@blackpride84 they didnt work for me or my mom either when i got them 3 yrs back.... but i had to find a combo that took effect. when i tried it then and at the beginning of the vid it put them on my hair damp and that was a fail... but when i did it dry with mousse ..i finally got a darn curl!

I loved the final results. Ive rocked a similar style with bantu knot outs but I absolutely can't wait to do this style again once my hair is way longer. Its gorgeous.. I also love the scarf and mitts!

Yeah, I don't like the curl I get from loc loops either. Your style after messing with them looks great though! I find perm rods, pipe cleaners and rag curls tend to be more consistent on my head. Oh and I hate the, "grandma flashback" too lmao.

@quotidianlight LOL.... im telling you... the grand mom flashback is cruel to the soul..... i like the perm rods as well but the loc loops are sooooo comfy to sleep in!!!! so for me... i have to do it on dry hair with moose for a better curl!!!
