@happyhappy1 Actually this game has infinite lives and checkpoints always when a stage is cleared. The main problem is the time which is running for the whole game and when you get killed it restarts at the same time it was when died... Ah! Passwords save the time remaining when you cleared the last stage too...
It's amazing how the same game on two different systems can be amazing on one (SNES) and god-awful on another (Genesis).
