Put up a vid of what happens when you load a PS2 game into the 40g... I've been looking all over for one. (Hopefully it doesn't say "Disc read error"- but it would be damned ironic if it did).

hey i live in europe and yea, i checked on wikipedia and they only sell this 40GB one....but i want it wit backward compatability cuz my PS2 broke and cant go and just buy one.......that stupid..

they said the 60GB is discontinued......and that plays PS3 games...

The thing with backwards campatability is its not really neaded. If you have Ps2 games chances are you have a PS2 already.
