a sense of a user-friendly supercar at all times. Not bad when comparing with Ferrari...
The R8 price point with dealer mark-ups doesn't make it a good car. People think the r8 is a super car when they're wrong. The R8 just gives you a tiny sense of what a super car WOULD feel like. Like I said, it feels like a S5 fully slammed on coilovers and brake upgrades.
If you have the money, save your cash and buy yourself a real super car.
A used F430 is not priced far from an R8, but I'll tell you this, the F430 is a COMPLETELY different car in ALL aspects, and it is very VERY user-friendly to drive. Not kidding you, just make sure you dont flip the switch on the bottom right corner of the steering wheel. ;)

I've driven/owned all three cars. I first started out with a MBC240 -> E46 M3 -> BMW 335i + Audi S5 and now I ended up with a Porsche 911 Turbo. I could not be happier, the Porsche is like a dream. Audi has always put out a phenomenal product. For quite a while now the brand has held equal respect in Europe and China, but its been mixed in the US. However, with more solid marketing here and edgier styling/bells and whistles to add on to Audi's great engineering history, is no doubt giving this company a huge boost on American soil. Sales may not be smashing the 200k mark like its rivals, but image is what counts first (also take into account Audi's dearth of lease/finance deals).
This is lame! The Audi is as unique and uncommon as the next Lexus/BMW/Mercedes derivative. I love how they don't even stand out when parked next to an aforementioned brand. Ugh, lol...

Audi S4 > A4 (I don't know why you would want a4 when you could get s4)
