You know, I'm from Cary, IL and I was watching another person's video on this storm. And I can tell it's, the same time (disregarding the storm) the the same song on the radio @ 1:32
WOOHOO! The new stats are in! Rockford was just rated #9 on the FBI's "Most Dangerous Cities" list. Another round of applause for the mayor and the police!! Rockford even beat Chicago for violent crimes. This new mayor is destroying Rockford just like he did the other city he managed. Maybe instead of making hookers the scapegoats for crime, he should go back to hunting REAL criminals. How is it that you hire multitudes of new pigs and crime goes up? Who is really committing the crime? PIGS!
me, my sister and boyfriend were in walmart on east state street. they had us locked down in there and made us go to the middle of the store as the tornado passed over us. i just moved here from pennsylvania, and it was the scariest thing i've ever experienced!
@melxann First of all, welcome to Rockford! It's a wonderful city. Don't let anyone here tell you different. Back in 2003 we had microbursts, with winds exceeding 100 mph, and for an entire week, we had no power! Most ppl were sleeping when that happened though.
I was driving nead the raillroad track and a car flipped over right beside me. the people in the car ran somewhere because the car was empty after i looked inside
Great footage! I was in Machesney Park when it hit! Saw that huge wall cloud coming my way and rain into the basement before the power went out! Definitely sounded like debris was hitting the house! So crazy
@Wekissinbreakdowns The thrill of getting out right before it hit, then seeing it engulf the area was amazing! There was debris hitting my car too, but you can't see it because of the rain and hail. My car was swerving once I got on US 20 EAST.

@cheke99 BALLS indeed. This video doesn't show much (even though it's hd), the storm was more thrilling in real life. I was kind of scared driving.
