Pretty depressing that the highest rated comment for this beautiful song, is one saying that another band are better. (Personally I much prefer Youthmovies, but used to like Foals better)

I don't think venusasaboy has listened closely to the tracks on Total Life Forever. There is a hell of a lot of thought that has gone into that album. That album has a subtlety that rolls right through all of the tracks, whether its the bongoes in 'Blue Blood', or the acoustic guitar doubling the basslines in 'Miami' and 'What Remains'. If you actually took the time to listen, you would pick up on the incredible intricacies in the production of that album.

I'm a fan of Foals and i like them both, the only thing i can come up with is "Fuck last.fm the only band that sounds like Foals is from the guy who come up with it in first place".

@crosswalkernie he's in a band called jonquil, they were supporting Foals at Oxford in their recent tour. His name is Sam cuz i saw him outside and got his signature, he played the french open with them.

Foals are better for people who don't appreciate as much complexity and thought going into the songwriting, for sure. This is like the musically intelligent version of Foals. Much more forward-thinking.

@TheJamboSambo Just because a band appeals to a bigger number of people it doesn't mean it's better or worse. I myself prefer Youthmovies, because it's a lot more complex in terms of music. It doesn't mean I dislike Foals.

i really agree with the 'jjshawtube' chap foals are a have a more 'radio friendly' apporach to their music, youthmovies take math indie to a much higher level than foals do by not conforming to the demands of a modern music scene, and it takes a real listen to there whole back catalouge to realise that. and they have some insane math indie elements with incredible time changes and signatures you dont get with foals, there a really well established band musically x

Andrew was a founding member of Foals as well, listen to Try This on Your Piano and Look at my Furrows of Worry, they have Andrew singing instead of Yannis.
