Do you know anything about economics at all? A weak dollar makes our exports more interesting to foreign buyers than our imports are to foreign sellers. America imports way too much crap as it is, so I can only see a weak dollar slowing that down as a good thing.
It also creates inflation for anyone involved in buying or selling imports. Your dollar doesn't buy shit in foreign markets anymore. And think about petro-dollars. When oil producing nations accept dollars, they can then loan those dollars back to the US by buying bonds, paying for our war effort. The weak dollar makes oils exporters not want to accept dollars for payment.

Do you know anything about economics at all? A weak dollar makes our exports more interesting to foreign buyers than our imports are to foreign sellers. America imports way too much crap as it is, so I can only see a weak dollar slowing that down as a good thing.

It also creates inflation for anyone involved in buying or selling imports. Your dollar doesn't buy shit in foreign markets anymore. And think about petro-dollars. When oil producing nations accept dollars, they can then loan those dollars back to the US by buying bonds, paying for our war effort. The weak dollar makes oils exporters not want to accept dollars for payment.
