dat411kid you must be a complete idiot. if you don't know wnything about game developingkeep your comments and cheap videos at home. polyphony digital and gt spend about 60-120 days on 1 single car doing everything they can to it. forza spent about 20-4o days on 1 single car. the list goes on and on. but i don't want to embarass you. okay gran turismo 5 will beat the ^hit outta forza beyond recognition.

yeahhhh bra. this isin't called drifting. this is called r/c free online drifting. if your looking into a real simulator check out gran turismo and learn how to drift. you have to tune to specifics in gran turismo rather than this crap.

Tune to specifics ehh.. Kinda hard considering this was with the DEMO which allows for no TUNING or UPGRADES just stock cars...As for Gran Turismo, if you ask me this game is just better. In Forza not GT we have damage models as a simulation should...if that wasn't drifting then what was it? Controlled slides..exactly the point...Anyway I'd say do some research before calling something crap... Thanks for all the comments guys...

not bad. i see that you steer to the opposite before turning into the corner to drift. Now, do you brake during that time? And how do you hold that drift and prevent it from spinning out? Good vid.

Doing that is called a feint drift where rear end comes out by throwing the weight of the car. Turn away from the turn and sharply oversteer into the corner, at the same time braking and shifting down, well balancing your throttle so you dont spin out. As you reach the apex, start to counter steer and loosen the throttle and kick it back in when you regain traction and shift into next gear. Well thats my lesson on feint drifting! Great video

Nice work. Ive been experimenting with drifting in the game. To "dannaryeguy" - using the e-brake allows you to get earlier initiation. They use the ebrake in real drifting you know - theres no shame in it!

dude, u look better at this than me. ive expermented with all the viable cars, and i found the mustang (i swear this isnt out of bias) a little bit better because of the slightley higher gearing and far better torque. skill can componsate for the open diff.

Drifting in Forza 2 is super hard. The physics of course are a lot more real and you can feel the weight in your car. I just wish I had a racing wheel to get the real feel for it.

Thanks, No assists were used while drifting.... Assists off allow you to get the car out of control enough to allow you to drift...And yes it's definitely useful having them off for drifting..racing though you would wanna keep them on, but its up to you...
