  • where did you get those pieces and what was attached to the matches?

  • @machinefan123 The cylinders are exhaustpipes that are cut to proper size, top and bottom are taken from a solid steelaxl lathed to fit the cylinders and looks, then i drilled three holes to fixate the cylinders to top and bottom. I lathed a hydraulic nut to fit a small cylinder to make the igniter, cut a small slot and put a washer almoast at the top, then drill a small hole just above the washer to put the safteypin in. Just under the nut you must grind in an angle one at each sides.

  • @machinefan123 so u can fit the strikezone for the matches. but leave 3 mm at the bottom so the strikezone dont fall of. O just use a little rubberband to secure it. At the top i drilled 4 5mm holes in an angle to let the niice smoke out. I lathed all the pieces to get the right weight.

  • Its the coolest homemade smoke grenade I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!

  • how do you fit the top washer in so it dont move?

  • @stevea1013

    0:15 = with three screws

  • Nice Smoke Bomb, best one I've seen yet. Can you make a vid showing how to make the body?? thanks 5 stars.

  • You really did put a lot of thought into the design...

Put about 4x as much compound in and look into electric ignition. I can show you all you wish to know. just message me.

  • Just wanted it to look as close to an Hgr4 as it could, and not get so hot on the outside. So thats the finished produkt of it.

Works really well. With right compound in it.

  • Nicely made, but would you rely on it to give you cover in a warzone?

  • well its safer to move in smoke if fired upon... Because then the enemy cannot see you...But then you cant see him either...So i prefere shot my way out =).......It also depends on how much smoke you'll use

  • @stridspittn the enemy will then concentrate on the smoke and you can flank them from somewhere else

  • you better off buying a smoke flare from your nearest boat shop..

  • Definately the most advanced one on youtube.

  • So Does pulling the pin relese the gaurd the makes the spring srike the match igniting the fuse?

  • The spring pushes the matches out against the surface to ignite the matches.

The blue mathes in the middle are a storm-match, it is that who ignites the Kno3 mix.

    No fuse is needed.

    Has never failed ever.

  • Audio explaining what we are looking at would be nice

  • awesome :)

  • Outer tube:Length 99MM, Odiam. 51MM,Idiam 48MM Weight 165,7Gramms

    Inner tube:Lenght 90MM, Odiam. 42MM, Idiam. 40,65MM, Weight 100,3Gramms

  • Everything can u buy in different stores,

i shaped everything 2 look as close as the original smgr4 in weight n shape.

  • good video but where did you buy that i can find that in a (ferreteria)?

  • Whats that pipe, looks like a flamehider.. Where u got it from?

And btw whats the measure of the pipes?

  • I lathed one side of Hydraulic nut flat ([screw]thread 3/8-19) That i drilled out for the ignitiontubing.

  • I have to tell you that your smoke grenade is the nicest I have seen on youtube !!!

Except for the smoke itself, the body of the grenade is just perfect !

you really need to try the KNO3 solution, it work much better ! I can't wait to watch your next video and to get all the parts I need make one like this !

    5 Stars !

  • Thank you very much. i hope we will have time son to try it with the KNO3 mixture.

  • I went to the store to see if I could find any hydraulic nuts, but I didn't.

can you give me more information on the material you used ?

... I can't stop to watch the video, it's just too nice !

  • Thanx. Thats the first grenade we put 2gether, i´ll have better finish on the other ones. And then were gona paint them green like the real thing. Im gona change a little of the screws, im gona use halts screws instead, then u dont see the head of the screws.

  • Iwe built that...It has a very realistic weight like the real smoke grenade 4...560 grams... You can buy all the things at a hardware store, exhaustpipes n storm matches n hydraulic nut n springs n bolts.

  • where did you get the metal cylinders?

  • A carpart shop

  • What is the cylinder exactly? Where can I find one. That video was awesome. I gave it 5 stars.

  • @stridspittn

what are the specific name of the cylinders?
