  • its a MOTH??? WTF

  • This is the single most terrifying video on the internet.

  • We see these curious ones only at night.... very hard to catch them on camera! And they come in many sizes, too! From that of a hummingbird (just about), to no bigger than a tiny bee!

  • @TheJbach I bet your penis is the size of a bee you fucking homo.

  • The fuck is this shit! Nature is running out of animals. -_-

  • Wow, that's a thing of beauty.

  • @FalseExodus your mothers pussy is a beauty

  • @knarkil93 Wow, you're original. No girl of your own so you choose to stare at my mom's old pussy eh?

  • @FalseExodus your mother's old pussy was tight before you were born. then i ravaged it.

  • @kidcuddly My mother is 76 and has been dead for 16 years. You were too young to become erect. Keep trying kiddo.

  • Case in point...

  • PS .. I would normally advise against ignoring the "weak ones" that make unrelated or ignorant comments about random videos (you know of whom I speak), but honestly it's quite entertaining. To live a life that has so LITTLE going for it that ALL you can do is snipe random YouTube videos to make yourself feel better...that's both pathetic AND humorous! Seriously...A BUG VIDEO...with "tough guy" comments...that's a scream!

  • @Ronrat7 Ronrat, do you like rat pussy? Your name makes it seem so...

  • Thank you for the video. Solved a Scooby Doo mystery for us. It was hard to figure out what the hummingbird-like insect was that floated around our plants was.

  • @altair11able you like dick faggot?

  • kidcuddly must be a sarcastic name. Why would you kill this insect?

  • The music of the clip is very playfull...I was clapping the whole time :)

  • @zurichowl I love your mom - love her tits - the two go together very well

  • I WILL FUCKING KILL THIS IF I EVER SEE ONE!!!

  • This is darling!

  • Love the moth - love the music - the two go together very well

  • I used to have these in my back garden...they are beautiful!

  • @cirqueduchat08 i used to have your moms tits in my backyard

  • so this is a motha or a humming bird?

  • I like how just when you think the song is about to end.....

    It starts up again

  • en[dot]wikipedia[dot]org/wiki/File:Britishentomologyvolume5Plate747[dot]jpg

Touché! It's latin name is Macroglossum stellatarum.

  • Look, I have seen these in my own backyard ... I appreciate all you "scientists" telling me they are moths, but I am quite sure they are hummingbirds.

  • I was once on my porch getting ready to go to the store. and I saw something on the pillar. SO I'm like...wtf is that? It looked like a damn bat. Turns out it was a friggan hawk moth. Yet I've never seen THIS kinda moth before on the porch. It was HUGE. I let it go cause I didn't feel right in killing it. I showed it to my neighbors though. They had never seen a moth THAT huge before either.

  • One of these invaded my room last night. Sadly my reflex reaction in my panic due to bug phobia was to detonate it with an electrified bug swatter :S I feel kinda bad now!

  • EEEEW That Moth is HUGE i despise Moths

  • not as big as the atlas but much cuter

  • I remember I was in Gulf SHores Alabama, and I saw something similar to this and they were all over the place.

  • I'm terrified of these things!

  • It should be called Hummingmoth, not hummingbird hawkmoth.

  • I have filmed the same moth. I identified it as a hummingbird clearwing moth. But I have heard of it being called a hawk moth.

  • I have filmed the same moth. I identified it as a hummingbird clearwing moth. But I have heard of it being called a hawk moth.

  • The music is by a friend Chris Warde

    myweb.tiscali.co.uk/glugalcoholeducation/pages/poems.htm

  • what is with the music lol

  • I HAD ONE IN MY GARDEN IN cHESHIRE

  • Cool hummingbird.

  • @afwoods NOT HUMMING BIRD ITS A MOTH!!!!

  • @TahoeSouthShore Yeah ... I've seen hummingbirds before. Nice try though!

  • @afwoods Jesus dude....can you not see the HUGE antenna?!?!?! LMAO!!!! Wow..........talk about ignorant of facts right in front of your face.

  • i seen this in australia, it's not natural here

but i think it's accidently migrated here somehow due to the extreme damp/hot weather we're currently having where i live

it's so cute, i thought it was a little bird

  • cuter than a bee, more accurate than a dopey butterfly, and it's not a rude jerk like a hummingbird. little moth is welcome to feast on our flowers any day of the week!

  • Whoa.

  • I saw one of these yesterday and at first I was like omg! it's a hummingbird, but I quickly realized it wasn't. They kind of look like flying shrimp to me.

  • awesome

  • I saw one of these the other day and was totally fooled. It’s the only time a moth that size got right up to me and I didn’t run away.

  • It's so cute! But if I saw one IRL I would scream my testicles off.

  • Maybe they look that way to scare humans... I think it's working!

  • I only found this video because one of these just flew past me in my back yard. A humming bird with antennae? Weird/neat.

  • fantastic

  • We had one of these type of moths feeding on our impatiences this morning. We were totally freaked out because we never saw a moth like this before. It was green like a humming bird but could definitely tell it was a moth.

  • i could watch these moths all day, beautiful

  • Thes is very well done .. really shows the bird-like appearance and movement and is very sharp and clear! bravo! ^_^

  • J'aime le banjo! :/

  • Cool hummingbird!

  • @afwoods It's not a hummingbird... its a species of moth that resembles a humming bird in flight.

  • Only ever seen one in my local woodland but my camera lens wasn't long enough to get a shot. Went looking for it today but couldn't find it again which is a shame because I bought a new lens so I could get pictures of butterflies and moths more easily. Those moths are spectacular to watch.

  • They must be rare since I have only seen two in my life.

  • The first time I saw one, I didn't know what I was looking at.

  • aww :) nom nom

  • seen these around my place in england there fast little things!

  • These creatures are weird, but really cute :) Also, nice choice of music.

  • So awesome!!!!!

  • So scary!

  • i got the chills while watching this video....=SSS

  • this is what nightmares are made of.

  • @Marumasa NO. YOUR FACE IS WHAT NIGHTMARES ARE MADE OF.

  • Brilliant :)

  • Great video!

  • also you can find the worms in your garden with a black light at night of course.

  • Can fly over 30MPH if it wants to.

  • Great video! Tell everyone that these are what tomato horn worms grow up.

  • lovely video i saw one of these while on holiday in Jersey it moved so quick meaning i couldnt get a photo :( was nice to see one though ^_^

  • so is it a insect or mammal?

  • It is an insect, hence the name Hawk-MOTH

  • It is a moth, but even if it were a hummingbird, it would still not be a mammal! lol..

  • Amazing flying show, great shots.

  • superb video, love it!

  • loved your video :)

i know this might sound odd, but hawk moths are beautiful insects. too bad diurnal moths are practically nonexistent where i live.

  • you do not sound odd my friend, moths are beautiful, as much as butterflies and beetles are too., by the way, check my vid of a striped hawkmoth, you will like it for sure :)

  • This is a beautiful video!!!!!

Where have you spotted it? Was it in the UK? If it is whereabouts? I'm asking cause I might be doing my thesis film on these hummingbird hawkmoth therefore I'm trying to see where I can find them when they start arriving in June. Thanks!

  • I love this movie. The music is great and the moth is so cute! I love butterfly bush too. It's amazing how you could get so close.

  • nice shots.... i had my camera on one a few weeks back, (the only one ive seen this year) and the bloody camera refused to focus on it, lol!!!

  • wow - brilliant footage. hoped to see one myself this year but sadly have not...(sigh) jaunty soundtrack too !!

  • I've never seen such an odd(and scary) moth before. Great shots!
