Ive also tried too use my other dog Brandy. I get her to bark for a trea. My dog can see that I am commanding. But my little one won't do it. I don't know what else to do. It really is like she's afraid. If I so much as look at her, she cowers in fear. Tail between the legs and shaking with her head bowed down. Sometimes she even urinates when scared. All this from just looking at her the wrong way? Whats wrong? Ive never hit her or yelled too loud. I wouldn't do that. Why is my dog so scared?

My dog will not learn to bark on command. I think she has severe anxiety. Wont make a peep when around humans. She barks all the time when she thinks noone is around. Its like she fears the consequence of barking. She has never been abused or punished in immoral ways. Why does my dog behave this way? She refuses to learn. She is very hyper. She goes crazy jumping and spinning around when theres food or its time to go outside. Why is she like this? Starting to think she is just really too stupid.

I think my dogs are retarded. They bark when someone knocks, and I've been trying and trying. They won't take the treat right away because they are upset and thinking someone is trying to enter the house. And when I sit them down and say speak, they just give me a blank look and loose interest. I don't know what to do!

I hate the clicker method i think it encourages OCD in dogs because the click triggers their interest after u train them this way.... i prefer to use english and hand signs.....

I have a lab/pit mix. She never barks at other dogs or people or anything. I have only heard her bark about 6-12 times in the 3 years I have owned her. Her bark is beautiful. I wish I could train her to bark at other dogs or people.

My rottie never bark under such circusntances, It just barks a few times when there's someone that he dont knows on the door, and the majority of the time he just say "poof", so its really difficult to teach it to bark on command... I need to teach it to bark before! :-D (nevermind, is good for neighbours that he does not bark).
