Imports make the most power/litre period. Their engines and cars usually have a thing called engineering, its actually a strange phenomenon that they use their brains and dont use 50 year old technology. There is a DAMN good reason why alot of the GM platforms and engines are all foreign designed, ford is the same way. Fusion and alot of their cars use mazda platforms. GM is heavily involved with toyota and buys platforms off of them.
