If you think about it, pokemon's really actually trying hard to keep pokemon alive. You try creating 600 little creatures based off of real life things. And its not like they have the greatest idea either. They make millions off this. And why? Because people just LOVE weird little multicolored anime creatures that talk in their own name. And in case none of you have noticed,The game series was based off of gem names. Pokemon used em' all. Just saying, Don't be surprised at this game if it fails.

@NintendoInformation No you have to trade. This game only contains new pokemon. No old ones. In order to get your D/P/Pt/HG/SS Pokemon you need two DSs and you have to beat the E4.
