SP are Billy and Jimmy. The musical input from James was so minimal to be non-existant, Billy threw him a bone every now and then putting his name on some song for writing credit. Both James and D'Arcy definitly were not into the music..did you ever see them live? Looked like they should've brought out stools for them to sit on.

That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. darcy and James were off having a fling together which left Billy and Chamberlin to compose mellon collie and the infinite sadness by themselves which was one of the pumpkins highest selling albums.

Without Billy this band would have fallen apart.

I think Billy basically told James what to play, and he relied on jimmy to bring the songs to 'the next level'. anybody could play d'arcy's bass lines, so they (James iha and d'arcy) aren't really that neccissary. I will say that jimmy is an amazing drummer and always brought alot to the pumpkins records.
