the last long distant trip i did with this truck i got a solid 22.5MPG doing 68MPH and thats hand cal also not off the DIC..also that was on 285 tires..

what level on the PPE was this? it moves just like all LBZ well hell any dmax with PPE does haha. I wish i could get my 06 silverado 5.3 4wd to move like that......i have custom tune and Longtube headers running a 15.08 1/4 mile. Going with a cam and higher stall converter next to run hopefully a solid 14.2-14.4 1/4 next. Not bad for a gasser huh lol

well his truck should probably run a low 14 in the quarter with the hot +2 programming..... not bad for a big heavy 2500 truck i think.

with an lbz, efi live, nitrous, and upgraded tranny its possible to run a 12.5 in the quarter.

these new diesels have an amazing potential for easy power.

for about 4 grand and you can have a reliable, high MPG, daily drivers thats also a track monster

at the time it had a PPE tune and thats about it except exhaust and guages...the truck is now a full time work truck but it has a built trans but only has a hot tow tune for HP..

it spun them from 30 to almost 50mph but with the wider tires they hold traction fairly good

i luv that feel but what feels better is a boosted launch which gets you to 60MPH about 2 secs faster..

I have a Quadzilla 135HP programmer on my 2004 DirtyMax Dually it runs really good and gets around 24 MPG also has K&N and GM Performance Exhaust with Duramax engraved in the tip I really like your truck

since this video was made i have installed a fully built trans so now i can run the PPE on the 7th level which adds 425hp on theflywheel..

FORDGT,i have considerd doing some cooling upgrades but as a norm the EGTs are manageable so for now im not doing a intercooler.

bferrel2,at the moment i hvae the boost controler but wih the 425hp tune you will not need it and there is a big difference between the 350hp and 425hp tune.your rear tires wear out faster with the big tune.

TTS tranny kit with a TCS Converter but if i would do it over i would do the Stage 4 SunCoast or the TTS kit and the 1057 TC from SunCoast

i got the hot +2 on my lbz +350 never had any tranny problems either, how much better is that 425 tune? think about getting mine upgraded. do you have their boost controller as well how do you like it?

it hits 1600-1700* really quick,i have my pyro on the driverside manifold and the highest it's ever been was 1750*'s.

that was soon after i put the tune on but since then i detuned it because it is really hard on the stock trans but i never slipped it but i din't really care to either..if i do a 4X4 boosted launch i can get 105-110MPH in a the same distance.

this was a all new tune i started runnin and it is a hell of a tune and seriously hard on my stock tranny..PPE HOT ET+2,425HP added on the flywheel.
