@ihavediabetestoo This is Model: 12-521. It costs $49 at RadioShack and is worth every penny. You can actually set it to not go off for S' Storm Warnings, Watches, or whatever you don't want to be alerted for.

@shongaloosmarts the radioshack 12-262 is currently on clearance at radioshack for 29 bucks. It's the exact same thing as the 12-521 internally except for seperate volume buttons (instead of the up and down buttons) and a seperate select button (instead of the enter key doubling as the select key)

@YuGiOh4Life1000 The RadioShack default alert tone is still sounding while the "beep beep noise" is going off. The "beep beep noise" is what tells the radio to sound the alarm.

@HarvestmanMan The alert tone at the very beginning is the radio's default tone. i love this radio and RadioShack makes it.
