yeah true, i grew up with puerto ricans of all kinds of color, my lady friend is from there and she mostly spaniard decent she very white, im darker than her. guess cuz im mixed of sicilian, spanish, hawaiian-chinese and english decent. she looks more like a typical white chick. every1 thinks im the puerto rican wen we go out. my spanish blood is straight outta spain. we made puerto rico what it is.

1.) They're are no such thing as a WHITE PUERTO RICAN seeing the white population of puerto rico only covers 6% with is lower than the 7% aFrican population.
2.) 75% of Puerto Rico is an avearge mix with Spainard descent from europe which was white, Taino, and Afro but if a person have pass a certian amount of Afro Descent they may be consirded afrol atin by there ancestries

The majority of the population was Spanish or Spanish decedent and it is still that way. Maybe you don't identify with the white side because you are black or if not, because you have been marginalized by the Anglo-Saxon whites like many Puerto Ricans have when they moved to the United States.
