@bradhodgkins Happy New Year mate! I used a program I bought the other day called Hitfilm Ultimate. From what I have used it so far it does all that AE does and more, the 3d environment and built in particle generators are awesome with collision detection, attraction forces etc Has built in gun fire/smoke/blood etc but so far is a lot easier to use than AE :)

@alnibbles Happy New Year my friend! I use a Panasonic HDC-HS20 which has a hard drive but I mainly use SD cards in in it for ease of use. Hopefully I may upgrade to a HS or HD 90 with the 3CMOS colour sensor which is much better than single MOS :)
