For a 2,000 pound bull to lay down in a chute that is standing room only is just asking for him to get stuck, a leg to get twisted, and if a rider was on the bull, his legs could be smashed as well. I support this SHARK thing completely. I'm from Southwest Texas, and used to go to rodeo's as a kid and didn't think anything like this happened. I thought the bulls were pissed, which they may actually have been from this abuse, but I didn't think anything like this was done to them.

least they got prods banned. i do have to say though, bulls and cattle of all types are think hided, we had dairy couws that would for some reason lean on the barbed wire fences and not have a scratch on them after. The bulls probably just didn't want to preform, they didn't have scratches or cuts on them after i'm assuming, and some rodeos are wrose than others, if you watch the big rodeos, the animals all seem pretty happy there

a friend of mine had bought a bull from the rodeo, her ten year old sister was best friends with him, you could do anything you wanted so long as you didnt touch his flank. given his story we all understood why. he now has his own group of cows and is very happy.

The bull ropes are not tied around the bull's genitals but rather his flank(where you probably where your belt). least they got prods banned. i do have to say though, bulls and cattle of all types are think hided, we had dairy couws that would for some reason lean on the barbed wire fences and not have a scratch on them after. The bulls probably just didn't want to preform, they didn't have scratches or cuts on them after i'm assuming, and some rodeos are wrose than others, if you watch the big rodeos, the animals all seem pretty happy there

The pink shirts represent the support for breast cancer awareness which rodeo raises lots of money for every year. The bull ropes are not tied around the bull's genitals but rather his flank(where you probably where your belt). And because these cowboys get on a male animal and ride it does not mean they are perverted freaks. Because I ride both male and female horses, does that mean I am some sick twisted cowgirl? I think not.

I have NEVER attended a rodeo and I NEVER will. Though if I had been there, for some reason, I so would have rushed down there and made a huge scene. You don't treat an animal like that! It's wrong!

Why do you say "to make them appear wild and mean"??? some are mean and wild, and mean and agressive, but some are nice and gental, it just depends on the animal. Its wrong to torment downer cows (bulls) and horses. in the chutes.

i have some rodeo bulls that have gotten into the horse corral and gored my horses to death, there wasn't a flank strap attached then was there? and the bull has been mean since the day he was born. and others are just dolls and let you pet'um and every thing its just that way.

Did you all know that a PBR rider was fined for throwing his face mask at a bull after it bucked him off? They didn't do it just ot put on a show. most people in the rodeo industry genuinly care about their animals. these animals are their way of life. if harm comes to the animals, harm come to them just the same when they lose money on their investments.

it shocking banned in every association? Just wondering. Though truthfully, i don't find shocking a huge problem or harmful to the animals. It just sorta stings. Now would i use one if the animal was fine left alone? No. but if i had a 1000lb plus animal refusing i would certaintly use one for the safety of myself and the animal both.

i am proud to say that my horse is not in nor has never been in a situation that calls for that, but if she were i would take steps to fix it imediatly. im am not saying that thes cowboys stomping on this animal is right, i would NEVER do that, but i do think that you guys at SHARK exaggerate ...alot!

Sorry, you're wrong. Not that they don't exist just for eating, torture, and torment, I mean that "They exist for their OWN sake" is incorrect. Genesis 1:28 states that we "... have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." While I do not agree with "torturing" animals, I do say that animals are our responsibility and that we may also hunt for food and manage the animals accordingly.
