Have faith, after all it took Bush 8 years to screw things up and nothing happens overnight. Obama is being blocked from changing things by right wing nutters but at least he wants to talk and try and bring about peace......slowly slowly catchy monkey....anything he does can only be an improvement after Bush. Thank you for the comment, however Obama is fast appearing to be just a different puppet at the same old show.

Increased troop numbers in Afghanistan, despite scrapping the old missile defense shield in Poland and Czech Republic set up during the Bush era there are now plans for another defense shield in the 2 countries and with American troops in Poland with a base.

I remember staying up listening to his speech that early November 2008 morning when he was elected. So much has happened

...since then but what stands out as real change? Not much.

When he had the choice to bring those who carried out torture to justice he backed down.

I don't know if you are aware of the Internet bill he is trying to pass in the states where it gives the government power to shut down the Internet, at least for Americans. Why? To control the flow of truth when most needed.

He might not be half as bad as Bush was but a lot of what is happening is a continuation from the Bush era.
