  • @kurtzrt1000 you can get em on e bay

  • Did you transfer your horns to your new truck?

  • where'd you get your dixie horn from

  • the horns are way out of tune. check the relay and compressor.

  • @skezza no its the manufactuer they use to make it right now theyve got all there horn sounding like crap

  • what gauge wire did you use? the tone sounds awesome. point the horns down so that water can't get in, and it also sounds like you need to oil your compressor.

  • umm i was waiting for the dixie horn? waste of my time

  • @itta320 guess u didnt wait long enough its in the video

  • Oh yeah, I think I know where Lake Clark's at... And I get what you're saying about the Dodges, I'm a Chevy guy myself but those Dodge Rams sure are a hell of a truck! I personally don't like the 1500's but I'm crazy about the 2500's and up!!! Same way with the Ford trucks (year 2009 & up).

  • You live in texas? Me too!! Haha. That looks like Lake Ray Hubard? I live about 30 minutes from there. Nice truck by the way!

  • @Texasredneck101 Actually it's Lake Clark (Ennis, TX). And thanks man. Although, I just traded in my truck this Thursday due to high mileage and the start of some problems. I got an amazing deal on an `08 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. So, I went from Chevy to Dodge, but to be honest, I thought I'd never like one but I do.

  • @bigmike062293 do some research man all silverados (except 3/4 ton 1988-89) after 88 are torsion bar suspension. and i did a 6 in by myself and it was a bitch

  • failed

  • @bigmike062293 I don't think I'd have the time to do it though. I'd have to see though. Thanks for the info! :)

  • A Man's Truck is his castle! -Cooter

  • @billybobjoe444 you're right lol i remember these episodes ... good times

  • Dude that is one Sick truck!!!!!!!!!!!! im jealous

  • @pudops Thanks Pudops! :-)

Will be getting a Brush Guard on it in the beginning of June. And soon I will be putting some Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires on it as well!

  • @GitRDoneDaleJr Nice What size tires are they?

  • @pudops I'm just gonna get the normal sized tires that my truck uses which is 265/70R17. I'd like to lift my truck a few inches some day and get some nice shiny chrome rims so I can get some bigger tires as well.

But I wanna save up my money so one of these days I can get a new truck. I'm wanting to get a 2011 Chevy Silverado Texas Edition. Those are soooo freakin' nice. :-P

  • @GitRDoneDaleJr a lift kit only cost a few hundred buck. yes save your money and get the 11 silverado

  • @pudops Actually I've searched. It seems to me that lift kits are $1,000 per inch. At least around here they are.

  • Forget the horn, that is one slick looking Chevy!

  • @shazbotninja Hey man, I appreciate it. It looks a whole lot better now though after installing the HID's and having been detailing it recently. ;-)

  • @GitRDoneDaleJr Sounds like you are making your Chevy even more beautiful then it already is. Should post a walk around video of it now showing it off with its HIDs. Again, I love Chevys and have seen a million of them, but your is just so slick and I can tell that you love it and take good care of it!

  • @shazbotninja I sure do! I detail it once a week, and am always keeping it shiny. It wasn't shiny in this video though. I'll have to do a new walk around video of it sometime this weekend for you. I'll do one during the day with the HID's on and at night so you can see the brightness. Only thing is I don't have the Dixie horn anymore because the air compressor went out on me. Saving up for some train horns now! ;-) I'll keep you posted!

  • what size bed is that?

  • @Countryboy052194 Short bed, Half-ton Crew Cab Silverados/Seirras only come way.

  • @Countryboy052194 It is a 5 foot bed. The normal short bed trucks are usually 6 foot.

  • nice horn

  • nice truck i wish id had one, i dont car for the newer bodystyles though

  • Yeah it's a little tempermental. I really notice a change from hot weather and cold weather. Haver a good gauge wire helps it alot

  • Yeah, it's quite slow during cold weather. But it's great in hot weather. Especially here in Texas, been 100+ for the past like 2 weeks.

  • nice horn, but it was a little too high pitch. still though, its sweet. nice truck too.

  • Pretty cool check out mine it's on a 2009 Dodge Challenger

  • It looks nice, it seems like ya did a good job on the install

  • Thanks. Yeah, I couldn't find an empty spot for the horns at first, so I decided to take the bracket off, so I drilled holes in it, which could fit 4 horns, so the fifth one i drilled a hole through the bracket where it bolts to the truck. The compressor is under the bracket on another one just above the fender.
