To be honest, I think that Dr. Kaku May be wrong on the aliens not visiting Earth. For Example, any galactic civilization that may be present in our galaxy. Would know that there is intelligent life on Earth; Level of intelligence to be determined. But any civilization like that would, no doubt have some sort of primitive species protection program, like in Star Trek, the prime directive to be exact. Until we the human race have sorted out all our differences and realize we aren't alone,
aliens wouldn't give us there technology because we'd probably use their weaponry in war and end up destroying ourselves, were probably not mature and civilized enough to be trusted with such technology wait to about the 24th century then they'll arrive. the UFO's could be just to give clues there here but not proof. UFO's come so there existence wont be a complete shock, just a possible theory.
@Yugiohtrader5 UNPOSSIBLE :P Nah just kidding :D What's the saying in physics? "Anything not denied by the laws of physics is mandatory"? They are finding out daily that more and more things considered fantastically impossible are permitted by the laws of physics. So.......?
the next time my teacher asks me a question that i can't answer, i'll point at the smartest kid in my class and say "this question is so elementry that even this dumbass can answer it"
Not the trend for future predictions, but for Science itself, that´s why science is so tricky. You can hardly find a final answer to anything, but instead you´ll have to go with a good theory until a better one shows up.
I feel that all of science is building up to some great point where we learn everything there is to know in the Universe, then we will move off to study the Multi-verse where we will inevitably find something bigger. Our humanity will break into something far more complex. And all of this will happen if nothing catastrophic happens and kills use all before we discover how to prevent our death.
@xzKyouzx you dont know what you are talking about . say we know everything ( as a civilization ) , you as a person will know a tiny fraction of it because it is so masive ( the knowledge ) that for you is like inexistent . but knowing everything will make our life more complex , more enticing . cant wait
personally, i disagree with you, i think if and when we do know everything about our universe or theoretically about the multiverse, then i think we would find much more wonder and interest in it
yeah he talked about us reaching type 1 civilization in 100 years if we can overcome our obstacles like prejudices, racism, terrorist, weapons of mass destructions, dangers from space. if we survive into type 1, we can strive toward type 2, then 3 at which point we would be invincible and can travel to other star systems and galaxies, like movie Star wars.
Those are my thoughts exactly, I always say...and it's not from anything I've heard him or anyone say, but I always say that we could travel through time if we don't all kill each other first.
Eh, science is but our mental tool to understand the universe at our current state of civilization only. One day it'll eventually be replaced by an even more complicated in-depth practice that implies the use of other possible dimensional properties and energies to be understood and used for our own purposes.
P.S. just like religion is slowly, but surely, will be replaced by the ideas of science haha
....expanding at the speed of light containing the finest of our cultural archives. The noblest achievements of the human creative spirit like I love Lucy leave it to beaver and now joined by the immortal classics: beavis and butthead part two and dumb and dumber part two. And if there is a star within 50 lightyears of the earth they will pick up our cultural transmissions and theyll be convinced there is no intelligent life on the Earth.
So this means that it's possible our planet Earth, our solor system, our milky way galaxy, and all the galaxies we can see are all part of baby Universe created by scientists in a lab who are part of a third level Civiliation? So those scientists are the ones we call god lol.
isnt the notion of "god" just the idea of a creator?...the answer is yes, but you have to understand this is just theory of what existence is and where we came from...
but it doesnt answer the biggest question of all...what created all of that in the first place? when you think about like that there is no answer...all we can do is understand what we can see and study but as you go deeper of what created what...there is no theory
And here I was thinking I'm the only one that thinks that deeply. :D
I hate to tie this into religion, but I just can't resist the temptation. Most religions teach people to just believe and love a creator, but that's it. You're not supposed to challenge it. If more people would think in a way that involved understanding the beginning of creation beyond just our universe, perhaps we could come up with a science devoted to finding the really important theories and answers to existence.
This implies that our planet Earth, could be part of a baby Universe created by a third level Civiliation. So our solor system, the milky way galaxy, everything in our Universe could be inside of lab with a team of scientists who are part of a 3rd level civiliation.
Perhaps a "laboratory" in our sense would be incorrect.
Maybe it isn't exactly a physical team that observes us, but something beyond our comprehension. Sorry to bug you, but I like deep kine of stuff like this :)
