@ZombieApocalyps mainly from smithing and enchanting, make iron daggers, and put a cheap enchant on them works, and check to see which enchant on a weapon is worth more

I just did this quest today and it was such a pain! im talking about where you find the star, and i had no allies or anything but i raped em with deadric daggers.

uh my enchants give me 500 dmg on the sword x 2 and 600 on my bow. So i love enchants

Should have done nelcar or whatever his name was if you would have done that then you would get the Black Star and it can store human souls and btw for everyone wondering about soul trapping

1. Molag bals mace-you have to kill within three seconds

2. Use a bound weapon like a sword or bow if you have it leveled in your conjuration tree perk thing and if you have a soul gem it will occupy it

How do use arcanas star its empty and it doesnt appear when i try to recharge a weapon as a soul gem.

@Newmancombat if you mean Azura's Star you have to soul trap a creature, I believe Frost Trolls have grand souls.

Soul trap is a conjuration spell or you can get a weapon enchantment, which I don't remember the exact enchantment name for disenchanting.

You have to kill the creature before the spell works off.

@YoDrood I tried using the mace of bulrag or whatever the name is to soultrap an animal but the azura star is still empty? Do i have to use the spell or will soul trap weapons not work?

@Newmancombat I will make sure that you have no other soul gems in inventory first, and if that doesn't work try using the spell
