Whats the meaning of screaming? can they do the fight without it?

@Molhedim When you strike you have to call out the target you are intending to strike.

I guess it's to show that the attack was intentional, not just luck. This is required to get a point.

One may just scream(kihai) without striking, this is not a must, you can fight without it.

But then this really helps turn the fight to your favor, mental aspects especially :)

全般としてすごくレベルが高い（私も5段なのですが、とてもとて­も、こんなレベルの剣道にはなりません。）ですし、1分59秒当­たりの片手面は、「すげ～」と思いましたよ。
