  • Ummmm bruh thats Ron Allen not Eddie Heyward

  • some one doesnt know there drummers cuz thats definitely ron allen lol

  • that was HOT

  • damn that guy with the guitar is in the zone

  • Wow, I so thought that was Royster on the left. I was like, "Do more than that!" - then I realized it was not in fact Tony.

  • Love the energy in this.

  • that was awesome.

  • i see will parker in the audience

  • thats not eddie heyward thats lil ron

  • I was gonna say that, but I didn't want to be wrong and have people be like "WHAT, YOU THINK ALL BLACK PEOPLE LOOK ALIKE?". :D

Ron's playing is so dang nice

  • Manic205 i agree with your speed statement but thing about alot of these drummers esspecially eric moore , spanky, mike johnston and all them is that they are well rounded in may stles of music and not to mention anyone can learn and to chops fast but to beable to break them down and play them slow its alot harder ,esspecially since alot of this drummers like pridgeion who left mars volta are expanding its only a matter of time till the youth of today is going to end up with this as a standard

  • @DarksiDeMobster amen, lol

  • Eric Moore is a good drummer but you gotta remember its not all about showing off, speed doesn't mean shit, even in a drum solo. Most African American drummers are either into gospel, hi hop, funk, Latin or jazz and I respect them for that but it would cool to see them move out into other genre's of music. I personally can play a lot of different genre's, its fun to learn different styles.

  • @Manic205 i agree, speed is def not everything.but you gotta remember its a drum shed,i think its really stupid when ppl go on videos to make comments like that when obviously the purpose of a drum shed is to show off/learn from each other. go listen to a couple of gospel bands and tell if they're going off like this...

and well lets see, eric is in a punk/thrash band, which is sad but whatever. thomas pridgen is in a progressive rock band whic is decent, lester estelle in a christian metal one

  • @Manic205 tony royster jr, can probably play anything imaginable. steve jordan is with john mayer. and there's plenty more bro, gotta do your research b4 you come up with a conclusion like that, if not it is invalid

  • Black people all sound the same on drums.

  • i disagree, dont be ignorant

  • ok... most sound the same. Not meant to be ignorant. These guys are clearly awesome it's just nothing special.

  • drums have nothing to do with race/ethnicity.obviously they do not sound the same, if you check out eric moores band he's not doing any of the stuff he does here and just holds the packet, even though his band is lame since its an old punk/thrash band but hey, money is the one that talks. but yea black people drummers dont all sound the same, its more the other way around, all white people sound the same on drums because they just play either blastbeats, double bass,or lame 4/4 easy rock beats

  • @jzchambo65 Your contradicting yourself here because your being ignorant and saying that all white drummers play simple stuff and are all into death core and play blast beats all the time, which is the biggest load of bullocks Ive heard in my life man.

  • @Manic205 yes exactly, i was trying to cop the same thing you said, see how ignorat it sounded?

  • @Manic205 yes i know, i was trying to copy the same thing you said but about white ppl, see how ignorant it sounded lol

  • I was with you until the last part of that statement...c'mon.

    Music is music.

    Drummers are drummers.

There's no black or white sound.

Gospel drumming just got really popular cause of gospelchops. They deserve their credit.

  • @Nateytracks yes i agee bro, i don really think that i was just making the same point but about white ppl, for him to see how dumb his point was, black drummers dont all sound the same.

  • Nothing against Eric or anyone for that manner. I just like to see disciplined musicians play "skillfully." Knowing when to solo and knowing what to say. Its all about communication doc. It just may be that I dont really like Eric's style but thats just me but I do know music though. Like the guy said, establish the groove then solo within the groove when its your turn. Thats all im saying. Anybody can chop it up but its the disciplined cats that have big ears and know when to do stuff

  • I actually saw Eric play at a jazz festival in Salt lake city, no solos nothing, just making the band sound good. He is deeper than just a crazy solo drummer. He is doing those crazy solos cause that's how he became famous and most importantly because those people are there to see one.

  • EXACTLY MY LIL BRODY RON ALLEN JR.

  • Eric is ok, he need to establish a groove and stay within the groove. Like the guy said an 8 bar solo then pass it on. Most of the time he's just doin random stuff with no timing whatsoever. Didnt like his playing on shed sessions, his licks werent all that great. Its like he's saying look what i can do instead of saying check this out or what do you think about this. Dont doubt though he good he just need to come up

  • you ever hear eric play with a band? he plays with a band now, he can groove but somethin tells me that what they are doin it don't really matter anyway its just for soloin, if you wanna see chops whatch these vids if you wanna see groove watch some other vids, these guys can all play grooves and they can all solo, they all got good rythem, eric is awesome on the keys too, has a vid of that, which is groovin like crazy, all i can say is the mans scorin dough with his craft so he's doin somethin

  • Eddie sits in later in the vid.....

  • was that eric moore on the right??

  • that justin raines on the left wit da glasses

  • does any one know the fast thing they are doing between the bass hats and snare???????

  • Eric Moore is a hoss

  • Eddie Heyward...Nobody does it better!!!

  • fair comment elishacp3...maybe i should watch till the end b4 i comment next time lol..

  • ERIC MOORE IS SUCh A SOLO HOG!!!!!!! omg wheres the time at???? he wont even exchange an even meter!!!! I dont like his sheding. I mean He Can Play I guess, He just dont do nothing for me.... Now Lil Ron will str8 murder eric on DRUMS OMG TRUST ME YOUTUBE!!!!

  • Haha naw thats the Soultone guy.

  • Haha.. I would never want to go against Eric Moore... True Beast.. matter fact i think i'm going to save this clip..

  • Hah, from that angle it looks like Eric`s drums are on fire

  • wish it was longer and had a better camera angle!!

  • Yea man! I wish i had a better camera! haha. It was hard gettin any good angle with that crowd.

  • i hear u man. respect for gettin wat u cud
