how would you write the algorithms sequence of written instructions to do what you have done.

???????????????????????
@rwrtwsd :P he meant what was your algorithim that you used to sort the balls and how did you put it together to? if you had problems XD

ztanley4119 3 years ago 3
The color sensor came from LEGO.
this doesnt actually see the balls. it just has motor movement. NO SENSORS!
rhysvanhouten 3 years ago 2
It has a color sensor and it is actually programed to see green, red, and blue.
soz its just that u shuld state that in the desc.
rhysvanhouten 3 years ago
and it would of been cheaper to use the light sensor! dur fred.
rhysvanhouten 3 years ago 4
Yes it would have.
ya there wicked but the full kit costs 300 big ones

Yes but what a great learning tool!!!
do you use the light sensors or you just programed it??
ztanley4119 3 years ago
When we used the light sensor, because it is pointing up, would not always work. So we are using the color sensor which was easier to program and worked consistently.
lol this robot could help people who doesnt see colors =)

where did you purchase those red and blue balls
One red and one blue ball came with the NXT set. The rest we ordered separately from Lego.
rwrtwsd 4 years ago
where do you get the red and blue balls for the mindstorm do they come ine the sett or do you have to buy them sepeartly
Purchased them separately.
Nice robot but I don't think it recognises the colours, as there is no light sensor, you've just programed it diffrently each time.

It is a NXT Color Sensor and was easy to program. At least it was easy for my 9 year old son. Thanks.
as it is Jacob!
