What a spectacular craft. Like everyone else here, I am absolutely drooling at the prospect of it as a private plane. But I am also just happy that someone has not only built a Horten design, but is enjoying it and flying it -- it would be a real pity for something that nice to end up in a museum. It belongs in the air.
how can I build this plane? I am in Canada and would love to learn of patent acquisition or fee for plans? what are the specification speed?fuel consumption? engine?
It would seem to be faster and simpler to build than a Long EZ....
The tough part would seem to be making sure the wing is shaped correctly, and getting the weight and balance correct. Can this be built with an IO-360 and carbon composite and simply scaled up a bit into a higher speed 4 place with higher speed? That would be interesting!
I thought this was a kit under development, but it seems to have never been finished or something.I like it,with a ballistic chute,it would be very safe
This wing looks fabulous. Where can I get a closer look. Can you tell me where I can get more information. The Horten Brothers were well ahead of their time.
All very nice. But what is the performance and payload capability?

Very nice video of a famous wing design. The music seems familiar, but I cannot recall the name of the tune.

@Heathh49008 Sorry about the redundancy... Youtube needs and "Edit" option.

Wunderschön !
What about stall behaviour ? When stalling, do you loose lift in the front or on one side of the wing ?
Any way very interesting !
