I understand , but to me from what im hearing and observing is this and i think it is the CORE of the problem.

Many Americans out there are saying and thinking "yes sure i agree with and admire Men like BALDWIN , and i would Vote for him, but he has No chance whatsoever of winning, so i wont vote for him "

I am one Paulite of hopefully many who will be voting for Chuck Baldwin. I definitely like him better than Bob Barr. The whole thing that turns me off about Barr is the the ex-CIA agent who voted FOR the Patriot Act and is FOR the war on drugs...not much of a libertarian if you ask me. Either way, I think Baldwin represents the beliefs of Ron Paul the best, so that's who my vote will be going to. We need to spread the word of this man!

Yeah, I hear you loud and clear. As Ron Paul supporters, our strength has always been our unity and now we are once again divided. I can't answer your questions about Bob Barr but his voting record in no way reflects his

current stances. It is not consistent as Ron Paul's was. I too am praying for that miracle which you speak of. Baldwin endorsed and worked on the Ron Paul campaign. Check him out. As long as we vote 3rd Party, we're sending a message.

What makes me the happiest though is the young age of so many Libertarian minded people! Actually, I'm Christian so there's nothing to force on me as far as belief..but when belief enters politics it's dangerous. Somehow religous people in power think they're doing God's Work and it gets messy at best. Our Man RP even states he himself is Christian but it's the last thing out of his mouth..with Baldwin..it's the first. RP understands the importance, as did our forefathers, of the separation between Church and State..Balwin, as I see him, won't be able to be so clear.

baldwin's religion has nothing at all to do with my support. it is all about the issues: end the iraq war, end foreign aide and foregn intervention, end the irs and income tax, end the federal reserve, end membership in the UN, end unconstitutional departments and agencies, terminate the patriot act, recongition of state's rights, end the welfare state, end dependence on foreign oil, stop the NAU, secure our right to keep and use firearms, securing the borders, .. both dr. paul and chuck baldwin did support the so-called "defence of marriage" which i myself think was quite unnessary. baldwin has said very clearly stated this is a states issue, and this "act" would prevent it from becoming a federal issue again. keep in mind that it is the philosophy of both Paul and Baldwin that we must look at each and every person as an individual, and not as member of a group, and being in this or that group should never determine what rights we have or don't have.

Sounds great, but I'm sticking with Ron Paul. The Constitution Party, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, and all the other parties are missing out on this historic once-in-a-life time election by not throwing their support behind Ron Paul. Ron Paul, after all, is on the ballot, and does not have to fight in every state to get on the ballot. Sure, the general election might be different, but these parties have only themselves to blame for not getting behind RP before the caucus and primary.

People have been begging him to run for third party for long time. He is not going to run for a third party. In the Constitution Party Convention they were planning to draft him but Ron Paul said he was not interested in a third party. Chuck Baldwin was with Ron Paul on the campaign trail and supported him until Juan McLame clinced the nomination. If Ron Paul doesn't file paper work to be a write-in candidate those votes won't count.

He can't. He was just elected to his 11th term to Congress as a republican (or will be in the general election). His strength is his credibility as a republican. He is putting the neo-cons on the spot, and they are feeling the heat. This is the opportunity for true patriots to wrest control of the GOP from the neo-cons. This cannot be done by a third party.
