I would make a belly landing, you can't even steer with your nose wheel with only the right main gear and nise wheel. Belly landing will be much safer, also because you now hit the ground with your wing, so very dangerous.
i would do a belly landing in this case because it would keep the aircraft on a straight line on the runway and also would stop it from smashing into the ground and damaging or hurting any part of the aircraft including passengers.
In the real world I think it would be much harder to "balance" on two wheels. This could lead to the aircraft striking one wing on the ground, spinning it around, and breaking up. I think it would be safer to do a belly landing because then both wings hit the ground simultaneously. I'm not a real pilot though, so that's just my best guess.
...seriously though, does an airliners main landing gear ever get stuck so that they cant do a gravity drop? Has it ever happened? Nose gear yes, but the main landing gear will drop due to its weight.
@crockett616 Yeah you're right, I can't recall a time when an airliner's main gear has gotten stuck(only nose wheel incidents), although there probably are cases, perhaps caused by a faulty mechanism or something.
@NCONiall I can't remember when it was but a 737's right gear stuck. the pilot bounced it twice to try and make it drop as well as some arcs, neither worked so he had to land on 2 gears. nobody was hurt though.
I would raise the right landing gear leaving only the front one, then at landing I would slow the air craft to a much slower speed than the minimum landing speed then pull back when slow enough on the ground to tail strike
I wuld raise the right landing gear leaving only the front one, then at landing I would slow the air craft to a much slower speed than the minimum landing speed then pull back when slow enough on the ground to tail strike
@TheSparcguy I think the correct procedure as per operating manual is the exact opposite, ie land on nose gear and hit the brakes and nose wheelie (/stoppie) the plane to a stop. Couple of my motorcycling buddies regularly instruct airline pilots on the correct technique, its easy once u get the hang of it.
@52outbound Sounds like you got the free demo, if you payed for it, contact Captain Sim, if not, I highly reccomend, if you have the money, getting it! Captain sim do great add-ons!

hey cessna154 , my computer isnt a great computor nor a bad one, but i have one question for you. i can run FSX with Ultra high Graphics, Medium Aircraft Medium high scenery , high weather and minimal traffic with out any lag. do you or anyone else out there have any idea what payware planes will work without lagg on my pc? i have a captain sim 757 and a captainsim c17 and the 757 lags like hell but the c17 is almost lag free. so anyone got any ideas oh and im using a Emachines E627 laptop
About landing with gear stuck; there was case with 767 when left main gear didn't came out. Captain decided to gently tuch down with right main gear to unstuck left gear. He didn't unstuck it so he landed on two gears and noone was hurt.
Just would like to say that all of your videos are top-notch and you are the best fax pilot ever! I am trying to work on landing the big 4 engine planes so if you have any tips please tell me.
i would land on 2 wheel, shut down the engine without a gear below it so the fuel won't ignite than i wil drive down the runway (not the grass, in real the plane would probably get stuck in smal holes correct me if i wrong) and open the emergency doors
hi there im from great britain and i am really interested in fsx, 2 questions for you, the first question is that do u have the gold edition of fsx and question 2 in your next flight simulator experience show could you put a review in of the bae 146 and the convair xb-36 thankyou very and could you take it into account thankyou very much
for the next episode, cessna you should use the c 130 blue angels "fat luey" i think it is (correct me if i am wrong) taking off using its little jets
@Cessna154 Hey, thank you for your video's. I was wondering if you could one day do a tutorial on how to respond to engine failures with jets? Cheers.
