  • pop poppin my collah

  • They're so stuck on what they know that they don't have an open mind and keep bringing up calendars. They're obviously not calendars and im glad Graham Hancock didn't let them change his thoughts

  • I've seen these similar in the American Southwest with a Native American guide. One gets the sense of so much connection over vast epochs of time. Graham is essentially correct in his impressions and assessments. Like his Ayahuasca experiences in the Amazon, my Peyote experiences in New Mexico have given me a beautiful perspective not only of our past but of our present and future as well. Cheers

  • "Go to the Amazon ,drink ayahuasca 10 times ! And we see if you are the same person..."

  • I'm curious as to why Graham mentioned that the creators of these images may have been influenced by ritual ethnogenic plant use, specifically datura. Although mentioned in the (fictional) Castenada books, datura use is likely to cause outright delirium rather than an insightful mental state, and the active ingredient, scopalamine, can toxic and even deadly if the dose is not carefully managed..Hallucinogenic cacti and fungi were likely available to these people- why datura, Graham?

  • Beautiful video! Thanks for bringing us along on your travels, Mr. Hancock! And thanks for the lovely message at the end..!

  • oh my god, i love the shit out of this video.

  • @batfly pahahahha

  • Graham, You have a sick life. #jealous

  • ♥ .

  • can not see any marking in this canyon , of usage ~ endorsed .

  • You don't need to ingest chemicals into your body to enter and make contact with the spirit world. You do it every time you sleep and meditate. However, I respect anyone who wishes to take these drugs at their free.

It is absolutely outrageous that this video was suspended but full marks to YouTube for reinstating it.

There are dark and controlling forces out there without a doubt.

  • Glad to see Santha in there as well. The real Marion Ravenwood :P

  • Geez, a tour with Mr freaking Hancock himself. That must be quite a treat.

  • @severed321 it's thousands of people over thousands of years observing these psychedelic realms. Whether they are real or just your subconscious there is no denying the positive changes people have in their lives. It's a tool for evolution dummy, that's all. Wake up...

  • Jim Bailey would say these symbols of spirals, zigzag lines signify certain groups of maritime peoples. Maybe shamanic beliefs affected the choice of these symbols

  • I like GH alot, he's a terrific guy. He says that YouTube disabled this video because a "certain" person didn't like it after watching it. I don't know who it was, but WOW! Isn't that bizarre?

  • @Fesheca This video was disabled by YouTube as one amongst the thousands of viewers who have already watched it didn't like the content and flagged it as "Inappropriate" which resulted in this surprising and unexpected violation of our freedom of speech. The YouTube team have now reviewed the video, resolved that it does not after all violate their Community Guidelines and reinstated it leaving our account in good standing.

  • @GrahamHancockDotCom Then for once (I hope not-should be the standard) common sense prevailed. Excellent. At least for today the world makes some sense.

  • @Fesheca

It gets removed after one flag?

  • @LambadLambadLambda Hopefully that was just an overzealous employee with a hair-trigger reaction. I know all the social outlets are being threatened with these copyright laws. It doesn't surprise me at all though.

  • Graham Hancock = 21st Century Rock Star for the Mind!

Even though the establishment are trying to silence him, the youtube|facebook generation knows better and will have Graham Hancock's back no matter what!

  • Wow the work Hancock is doing is extremely important to humanity.

  • think about how crazy this is, thousands of years later a bunch of 'modern' humans stumble upon this cave connecting these drawings to psychedelic visions. it sounds like science fiction but it's just... psychedelic experience...

  • Sorry this may sound a bit harsh, but is it me or has Graham surrounded himself with primates who only seem mildly interested in whats going on?

  • It's a theory he's come up with based on findings and research. I wouldn't call it arrogance. If you research drug history it's completely possible.

  • How do people watch jersey shore over this

  • Graham Hancock, a person I can count on to watch and feel inspired

  • you know, maybe they didn't take anything to induce these experiences, higher consciousness is a natural phenomena.

  • some of these drawing's are more like what i see when i have a migraine...lol

  • they had facebook .

  • he was incredible on Rogan's podcast.

  • legend

  • Spot on, more videos I love your research. Also the camera work is great keep it up.

  • To all those who believe these experiences are hallucinations, or "all in the brain" you're way off the mark. Full of it, actually. I've been having these experiences--and much more--for 37 years. I have many friends who can say the same. Meditation puts one in the position of having them. Meditation and the right teacher.

  • Sounds like McKenna was onto something relating evolution of human consciousness to use of "visionary" plants. Good stuff!

  • the first artist was a shaman

  • You are such a great man. I really love what You are doing. World need people with such a great i wide-open wisdom. I hope my 1 year old son will go in your footsteps. I hope that i'll be able to teach him to be so open-wided for knowledge.

  • There is an interesting link between this kind of rock art and the orb, bar, wave energy phenomena that is now being observed. Paul C Muir, University of Glamorgan has been researching it for many years. He has a channel here on utube dedicated to it. Also Marija Gimbutas' book 'The Language of the Goddess' has images with amazing similarites...

  • I have showed all of my friends videos of graham hancock and he has changed all of our opinions on the history of humans and how wrong our current timelines are !!!

  • It should be mandatory for anyone who wants to be a politician to take Ayahuasca first.

  • ☆ :)

  • It would be a real trip to hang with Graham and Joe Rogan and just trip balls.

  • @batfly hahaha yes ;D

  • @Abrazoism

    Roshambo

  • Some argue that the reason for universal likeness, in amongst other things, cave art and ancient symbolism, is because thing took place in the sky above that is identical from all over the world.

Try searching for "symbols of an alian sky" by David talbot and also look into the electrical universe theory

  • Now is not the time to be tripping your face off, you'll end up with a bad trip, with whats on the way too.

  • :44 what is that they are walking on\over???

  • Who the hell is Big Brother... and how do we kick them in the nuts?

  • Cool vid!

  • i hate how people talk about drug experience as truths for example "this isnt your brain on drugs this is you going to another world" or w/e theres no science behind it, you may feel you've gone to another world but that is most likely just the effect of the drug you've taken

  • have you ever had a profound psychedelic experience?

if not, consider this situation: 100 scientists in a room with one microscope, a small group at the microscope tells the others they can observe in a tissue sample that we're composed of micro-organisms, a deeper reality than previously believed. The others cry "nonsense", and refuse to look, claiming the group of observers are seeing things.

Speculation without participation = arrogant ignorance

Like a virgin saying sex is bad for you.

  • @thevuduchild first of all you assume i havent had one, and secondly that doesnt refute my statement at all, just because you believe you've gone to another world doesnt make it so and its more likely considering what we know about the human brain that you're just having a very convincing drug induced hallucination

  • educated guess based on your connotations.

what we know of the human brain is that certain regions produce more or less activity based on stimuli. we've mapped less than 10% so at BEST we understand 10% of what our brains are capable of.

depending on the region of space examined, 60-90% of our immediate surroundings are a complete mystery defined only as "dark matter".

could it be that by changing our brain's sensatory lens, we are capable of accessing the info that is now "dark"?

  • @thevuduchild nothing suggested i hadnt tried psychedelics, unless you think not agreeing with this video implies it.

and wheres your source for that information? ive never heard anything like it, but regardless, that still doesnt refute my claim that its more likely from all of our understanding that drug experiences are just a convincing hallucination, and so claiming truths about what you're experiencing just sounds like hippy nonsense, not even the show ancient aliens goes that far.

  • Information from neuroscientists such as Edelman, Glaser, Sherrington, etc, who published their respective findings for colleagues and enthusiasts to read. Science is openly infantile when it comes to the working of the brain and especially when it comes to human consciousness...the ability to contemplate contemplation, self awareness, empathy, etc.

Subjective experience dictates what's "real". If you haven't had psychedelic experience your comments on the subject are speculative and moot.

  • @thevuduchild Abso effing lutely, vuduchild. Unless you have many years of behind you, it is almost impossible to understand the wider view which the psychedelic experience opens our consciousness to.

  • @thevuduchild im sorry but you're wrong, subjective experience using drugs DOES NOT make it real, it DOES NOT make it the truth. il concede we dont know how the brain works completely yet, but there is absolutely nothing to suggest that our drug induced experiences are anything more than convincing hallucinations.

  • i had a long response typed, but i'm content to agree to disagree. i respect your opinions, as they're at the very least well articulated.

i have had experiences that seem/feel/appear more real than this physical message i'm communicating right now. they seem like they could be previews of whatever the hell is on the other side of death, or brief consciousness relocations to alternate dimensions, and you remain completely lucid...it feels in no way like intoxication.

    personally, i believe it.

  • @thevuduchild i dont doubt the validity of a personal experience to the subject experiencing it, yes it may very well be as real as reality is to anyone else, and perhaps even more real, but to talk about it as if its the truth based only on your personal experience comes off as a little crazy, pompous and arrogant, thats all im saying

  • Comment removed

  • @infinicity thats interesting but it doesnt validate anything

  • @severed321 At the very least, the psychedelic experience tells us something about the structure of our brains and how it is a doorway to a larger universe beyond the narrow limitations of social conditioning.

  • @ClaireSapphyck no.. all it tells you is that your brain will react in crazy ways it normally would not if you give it the right substances, nothing suggests it is real, absolutely nothing. personal experience does not count as proof of anything, personal experience is more likely to be just a convincing hallucination.

  • @severed321 we know very LITTLE about the human brain and consciousness, you can't say "most likely" or to that effect when describing what a psychedelic experience entails, not even the brightest minds could explain what these psychedelic experiences are. Problem is the government brainwashes us with these drug propagandas lumping in certain drugs in one category. It could just be the mere effects from the drugs or a real connection with a different reality.

  • @laistar ive conceded we dont know all there is to know about the brain yet, but the 10% or whatever it is we do know suggests no reason to believe these drug induced states of altered consciousness are anything more than a hallucination, a coinvincing hallucination but a hallucination none the less, nothing scientific or verifiable suggests otherwise.

  • @severed321 ofc there's nothing scientific or verifiable, that's why explaining a psychedelic experience is beyond comprehension. I don't know how one would prove either way, nevertheless just because the hallucination doesn't exist in our reality we can't rule out that it's real in a different reality. We have the idea that just because something isn't there it doesn't exist. But fair enough.

  • @laistar just to clarify im not saying drugs dont take you to an alternative reality or allows you to see one or whatever, what im saying is talking about it as if it is a fact or the truth is silly, theres no scientific or varifiable evidence supporting it, everything we know suggests it doesnt exist and personal experience does not validate it to anyone but yourself

  • @severed321 fair enough, I guess he was too poetic in describing it.

  • @laistar it happens all the time, drug users always claim it as a truth or a reality it just sounds so pompous and arrogant when its based on nothing credible at all which i find obnoxious

  • @severed321

Hallucinogens I believe played a part in the evolution of our brains at the earlier stage of our evolution from prehistoric man.

Imagine if you will a prehistoric man taking a hallucinogen without knowing it, and then becoming more aware of his surroundings and thought, proceeding to a level of enhanced thought.

Maybe the thought who am i and where am I, deeper questions that drive us still.

Not beyond the realms of impossibility.

  • @AlltimeTrance well i never said anything about mckenna's stoned ape theory but i doubt that ever occured aswell, it was most likely just natural selection incrementally favouring minor advancements in our intelligence, like using sticks are tools for example, once you get the ball rolling for ideas they grow exponentially

  • @severed321 as tools*

  • @severed321

The difference of evolution in man compared to that of apes (which also use tools) lies in the brain.

The evolution of the brain is fundamentally different than it is for apes.

I think physical evolutionary changes are quite irrelevant, compared to mental evolution when investigating our progress through the ages. Hallucinogenic chemicals therefore have to be taken into account.

  • @AlltimeTrance they really dont, naturally selection can account for all of our mental capacity, our ancestors were most likely just more dependant on tools and communication to survive than other ape species

  • @severed321

No I think it's something deeper than that. All animals communicate. many use tools.

  • @AlltimeTrance animals have other abilities to survive, we dont, only our brain

  • @AlltimeTrance There is an enormous amount of evidence that you have chosen to ignore that shows that the "your brain on drugs" IS accessing real other realities. Start by watching the 9 parts of this presentation and educate yourself, or instead continue to ignore the evidence and spout ignorance: watch?v=WITx8DF0TSA

  • @infinicity

I don't need to research that, I have taken liberty caps, LSD, and ecstasy. On more than one occasion.

I am aware of these reality's, especially concerning LSD and Liberty caps.

  • @AlltimeTrance I apologise, that message was meant for @severed321

    Somehow accidently clicked your name

  • @infinicity

    That's ok..Thanks...

Right back to the tripping, bye. :)

  • Once again, thank you graham hancock for your undaunting drive to explore and share knowledge which the human race has forgotten. "We are a species with amnesia" -Graham Hancock

  • Be careful not to oversimplify the meaning of these drawings to fit your world view, stay open minded.

  • @render365 Well said. He's probably mostly right. But there's always more to the story.

  • It's nothing mystical, check out Plasma Cosmology.

  • COOL!!!! I know you have wanted to see these things for a long time and now you have! Great for you and thanks for sharing it with us! Incredible man!!!

  • His book "supernatural" is a fascinating perspective into hallucinogen use and it's connections to spiritual experiences all across the world. You may enjoy Hancocks recent visit to the Joe Rogan experience last month it's about 2 hours and covers a wide variety of subjects.

  • MORE, MORE, MORE VIDEOS PLEEEEEZZZ.. THANKS GRAHAM YOUR THE MAN AND HAVE HAD A HUGE AFFECT ON MY THOUGHTS!

  • slip inside the eye of your mind , dont you know you might find ,a better place to play :)

  • @MR1QUEST Haha, I've been there, and I like to go back to Re-Mind myself. ;)

  • I grow datura. I have read that it is highly toxic, sure wish I knew how to use it!

  • Popped collar is -2 coolness. Sorry Graham

  • Graham Hancock = 21st Century Rock Star for the Mind.

  • Graham Hancock the real Indiana Jones!

  • Great video, keep up the work on altered states.

  • Graham Hancock is a very wise man,but then again he went to university in my home town, the beautiful historic city of Durham.Where many wise people have emerged.

  • Graham Hancock has his collar popped! XD

  • Where did you come from,l don't remember your friend request.are you the lsd consuming Hancock.

  • very interesting interpretation. I also recommend looking up Anthony Peratt- he explained many petroglyphs with plasma discharges

  • Graham Hancock is a cool dude

  • They don't want DMT or other such powerful hallucinogens getting to the masses for there would be an awakening that would bring the present power structure to its knees. I hope you have many more books in the pipeline mate !

  • Gracias por su trabajo señor Hancock. Ojalá existiesen sus trabajos en español. Muchos millones de personas en el mundo latinoamericano se beneficiarían de sus obras audiovisuales.

    Hasta pronto mr Hancock

  • Thank you Graham Hancock for all that you are doing to help bring out "The Truth In the Rock" in these times of great change. Great Blessings to you and yours. For more enigmatic Rock Art in Colorado regions look up Gary Vey and Bill McGlone's work on the Arkansas River which they called, "FIRST TONGUE;" you will not be disappointed, and my own attached vid showing Love For the Land.

  • You kind of look like the creepy older religious fanatic from the new dexter season.

  • Using entheonogenic plants in a shamanic ceremony or as a shaman is a spiritual experience. Using chemicals or plants to get high as a recreational experience is not the same experience.I am old enough to have known some people who took lsd in the sixties.Playing games with your consciousness can be a dangerous game and people need to be aware that they may alter their consciousness( with irresponsible use of hallucinogens) in a way that is not conducive to maintaining wholeness as a person.

  • I got to get me some ayahuasca

  • Universal themes exactly :) Thanks Graham & Co appreciate Your work :)

  • dose up.....

  • Graham, the people now known as the Cherokee, lived inland on the North American Content for more than 10,000 years; having a diverse language, building skills and intensive agriculture. The True Story of the Cherokee People, has almost been removed from history, by the very imports who claim to be partial Cherokee (The Cherokee Nation).

  • popped collar !!

  • thanks Graham

  • Is it possible that the Shaman people were going within their own superconscious mind and reporting back what memories that are hidden and locked within themselves vs going somewhere else? Just a thought...Peace

  • @Rockland19621947 An interesting thought Rockland. The thing that convinces me that they're actually going somewhere else is because the shamanic journeys (through hallucinogenic plants) has striking similarities, universal themes and entities in them regardless of culture, geographic location or earlier memories. If it was a memory thing, one would think that there would be much more variations in these plant induced visions. I'm not saying anything is certain. But why the universal themes.

  • @geostigma123 What if for one moment Re-encarnation is a real thing..Then when a person comes back they would have all the memories stored but not able to retrieve then unless something triggers them...Like the mind altering plants...Then once you are within your own memory you could have lived many places in many time periods and have information that will get all around the globe...???? Like I have memories that aren't mine I am not old enough to have these memories..

  • @Rockland19621947 If that was the case, I would have to agree that such an explanation could be plausible... I'm not denying or endorsing any theory, just leaning towards what seems more convincing. The thing is, I used to be a huge believer of Reincarnation, but after hearing and reading about near death experiences/, they all seem to tell stories about returning to "the source", and never into another body... Perhaps you choose another body at a later stage, after the source. I don't know

  • @Rockland19621947 I also believe that we go to the source of the Light and get judged if you will by our performance in the life we lived..but I also think there is a possibility that we may return with instructions that are needed at a certain point to do another job...I don't know how to explain it any better..I have had some visions of my own and I think I know what they mean but as with everything it could be something different..Just exploring all angles..I am very spiritual...not religious

  • @Rockland19621947 Perhaps a better way to explain is to say not "that we go to the source of Light and get judged if you will by our performance in the life we lived" but that we see the full truth of who we are and how we have lived our life, the aspects of ourselves that need work and how we have affected others in our life.Anyway this is my understanding after been as close to death as you can get after many years of ill health.

  • @Julia52421 My hubby has 3 signed death certificates and never once went to the light he just floated around here so I don't really know what is beyond this life just know there is something I can feel it...Just was putting the thought out there...Like maybe all we know when we are alive comes from within us..Peace

  • @Rockland19621947 I don't recall any light :-) but knowing for many years that I would get to the point I did gave me lots of time to contemplate and think about the true meaning of life. What I expressed in my reply is some of what I believe occurs in regard to death or leaving the physical form.Of course I can not prove this but I know this to be part of the truth as I see it. Peace to you :-)

  • Thank you .. I'll take aa informed Fiona (Eve) Hungarian

  • More videos love your wisdom! ;D

  • We thank you Graham for all your work and for all your teaching!

  • I got so excited I pee'd a little when I saw this in my subscription box.

  • @sphinxscu2 incontinence is known to be caused by a sedentary lifestyle, one for instance where your computer is your window to the outside world ,where you rely on others to explore it for you, hope you stop leaking soon

  • @sphinxscu2

Instantly felt the same as well!
